I am a biologist by degree, and one thing I understand that is a general knowledge is that no 2 fingerprints can match, even if you are an identical twin.

Now let's bring this into the branding world. Did you know that no 2 brands are the same whether or not they offer similar services?

Allow me to burst your bubble a bit more, you can be visible as a brand and still not understand that you own your own "unique identity".

Personal branding is not self promotion!!

This may sound funny, everyone wants to brand lately, but some people are doing it wrongly.

In as much as aesthetics and good strategy is valid when putting yourself out there.. You need to make sure you are giving value and not just noise and vibes.

Yes, your brand colour are amazing, your designs are eye catchy, you look good on that pinned post, but then in all what do I gain by giving you a follow..

I think it's safe to say that we should calm down on the noise and self promotion and strive to providing value.
