🔴⚪️ MANCHESTER UNITED ARE BACK IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE! 🏆

And this time, I don’t think we should approach this competition with fear.

Yes, the draw has given us some serious opposition. Bayern Munich. Atlético Madrid. Roma. Sporting CP. RB Leipzig. Villarreal. Sabah FC. Como.

But when I look at this draw properly, I see an opportunity.

🔥 WHY I BELIEVE UNITED CAN DO WELL

First, Manchester United have something to prove.

We are back in Europe’s elite competition after two seasons away, and this is exactly the kind of stage where a big club has to remind everyone of its level.

The new Champions League format also changes the mentality. United will play eight different opponents, four at home and four away. The objective is not simply to “survive a group”; we have to accumulate points and finish as high as possible in the league table. The top eight qualify directly for the Round of 16, while teams finishing 9th–24th enter the knockout play-offs. (The Guardian)

🔴 BAYERN MUNICH — THE STATEMENT GAME

This is the fixture everybody will be talking about.

Manchester United vs Bayern Munich at Old Trafford.

Bayern are one of Europe’s giants, but this is exactly the type of match United fans want to see.

Old Trafford under Champions League lights.

A world-class opponent.

And an opportunity for United to make a statement.

We don’t need to be favourites to win this game. We need to be brave, disciplined and aggressive.

If United can take three points against Bayern, the confidence that could generate throughout the campaign would be massive.

⚔️ ATLÉTICO MADRID — THE CHARACTER TEST

Then comes the trip to Atlético.

This is a completely different type of challenge.

Diego Simeone’s Atlético have traditionally been extremely difficult to break down, particularly in big European matches.

This game will test United’s patience, mentality and tactical discipline.

A draw away from home would not necessarily be a bad result.

🏟️ ROMA, LEIPZIG & SPORTING

These are the games where United have to be serious.

Roma at home.

RB Leipzig at home.

Sporting away.

These are not games where we should be thinking about damage limitation.

If Manchester United genuinely want to qualify comfortably, these are the matches where the points have to come.

💪 VILLARREAL, SABAH & COMO

And then we have Villarreal away, Sabah at home and Como away.

On paper, these are the fixtures where United should be targeting maximum points.

But Champions League football has taught us one thing repeatedly:

There are no free points in Europe.

United have to respect every opponent and play every match with the same intensity.

📊 MY EXPECTATION

I don’t expect Manchester United to walk through this competition.

I expect us to be competitive.

I expect us to make Old Trafford uncomfortable for every visiting team.

I expect the Bayern game to be one of the biggest nights of our league phase.

And most importantly, I expect this United team to show that we belong back at Europe’s top table.

The target?

➡️ Finish inside the top eight.
➡️ Avoid the knockout play-offs if possible.
➡️ Compete with the big boys.
➡️ Build confidence game by game.
➡️ And then see how far this team can go.

Because Manchester United should never enter the Champions League simply to participate.

WE ARE MANCHESTER UNITED.

The badge demands ambition.

The history demands ambition.

And now it’s time for this team to create its own European story.

🔴 BAYERN. ATLÉTICO. ROMA. SPORTING. LEIPZIG. VILLARREAL. SABAH. COMO.

Eight games.

Eight opportunities.

One objective.

🏆 LET’S GO, UNITED.

This video is based entirely on my own point of view and how I see my great club at this moment in time. 🙏❤️

It’s simply my personal perspective, my thoughts, and my understanding of where we are as a club right now. We may not all see things the same way, and that’s okay—but this is how I see it.

Glory, glory, Man United! ❤️⚽️

Carlos Baleba to Manchester United — here we go! 🔴

According to David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are closing in on Carlos Baleba, with a package reportedly worth around £60 million upfront plus £5 million in add-ons — £65 million in total. While the deal is not completely finalised yet, negotiations are progressing positively. (Football365)

For me, this is a very good signing. But more importantly, look at the bigger picture of what Manchester United are building. The club is consistently targeting young, high-potential players — players who can develop together and form the core of the team for years to come.

And when you are building a team for the future, there is one ingredient that is absolutely essential: patience.

The United board needs to be patient with the manager. The manager needs time to develop these players, establish his system and build the chemistry within the squad. And most importantly, we as fans need to be patient with the process.

We cannot demand a finished product immediately while simultaneously celebrating a recruitment strategy built around young players and long-term development.

If United genuinely want to build something sustainable, then we have to allow the project to breathe. There will be mistakes, inconsistent performances and difficult periods along the way. That is part of rebuilding.

So, if Baleba comes in, let’s not just look at the £65 million price tag. Let’s look at what United are trying to create.

Young players. Long-term planning. A clear profile. A team for the future.

Now, the biggest challenge is not just signing these players — it is giving the manager the time and patience required to turn them into a successful team.

Trust the process. Support the rebuild. And give the project time. 🔴.

🚨🔴 Carlos Baleba made clear to his camp his only dream since August 2025: Manchester United.

Baleba agreed personal terms with one year ago but Brighton closed the doors; now negotiations at final stages.

The agreement player-United remains valid: he only wants United.
