Inside our head are 86 billion neurons, according to Suzana Herculano-Houzel.They form hundreds of trillions of connections.

Storage equivalent? About 2.5 petabytes. That’s roughly 300 years of HD video.

So capacity isn’t your problem.
Underuse is.

DAY 13: You don’t actually see with your eyes.

Light enters through the cornea. The iris controls how much comes in. The lens sharpens the focus onto the retina. Rods detect light and dark. Cones detect color.

The retina converts light into electrical signals that travel through the optic nerve to the visual cortex, where vision is created.

Seeing is biology, physics, and electricity working in perfect coordination.

DAY 12: Procrastination isn’t laziness, it’s a stress response.

Your amygdala reacts to difficult tasks like threats, and your brain chooses short-term relief over long-term progress.

DAY 11: Two people. Same pressure. One collapses. One performs. Why?

Your brain decides what pressure means.
If it labels it as danger, the amygdala takes over. Heart rate rises. Thinking drops.

If it labels it as a challenge or opportunity the prefrontal cortex stays online. Focus sharpens.

Same situation. Different neural command.
Pressure doesn’t control performance. Interpretation does.

DAY 9: Why your Hands shaking, voice trembling, mind going blank when on stage.

It’s not weakness , it’s your brain reacting.
Before you speak:

🧠 Amygdala detects uncertainty, fear, treats the spotlight as a social threat.

⚑ Hypothalamus axis releases adrenaline & cortisol : heart races, muscles tense, hands shake.

🧠 Prefrontal cortex, your logic & memory center, struggles to function , mind blanks.

Stage fright is your body preparing, not failing.
Next time you step on stage, remember: your brain is reacting, now you can respond.

DAY 7: Why Your Brain Becomes Super Sharp Before Exams, Presentations, and Big Decisions.

Ever noticed how your mind becomes sharp just before an exam, presentation, or an important decision?

That mental sharpness is your brain operating in Beta waves , the frequency linked to focus, alertness, logical thinking, and fast decision-making. In this state, your brain is actively processing information, filtering distractions, and preparing you to perform under pressure.

Beta waves dominate when you are awake, engaged, and goal-driven, but when they remain too active at night, quality sleep suffers.
