HOW TO MAKE GINGER, TURMERIC & CUCUMBER SOAP 🌿
Have you ever tried a soap that combines the goodness of ginger, turmeric, and cucumber? This DIY soap is refreshing, soothing, and leaves your skin feeling clean and soft.
💚 Benefits ✅ Ginger helps cleanse the skin and gives a refreshing feel. ✅ Turmeric helps brighten the appearance of dull-looking skin. ✅ Cucumber helps soothe and moisturize the skin.
🧼 Ingredients
500 g melt-and-pour soap base
1 tablespoon fresh ginger juice (strained)
1 teaspoon turmeric powder (or turmeric extract)
2 tablespoons cucumber juice (strained)
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil (optional)
5–10 ml skin-safe fragrance or essential oil (optional)
Soap color (optional)
🥣 Method
Cut the soap base into small cubes.
Melt the soap base using a double boiler or microwave in short intervals.
Add the ginger juice and stir gently.
Add the cucumber juice and mix well.
Add the turmeric powder or extract and stir until evenly blended.
Add vitamin E oil and fragrance if using.
Pour the mixture into soap molds.
Spray the top lightly with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles (optional).
Allow the soap to cool and harden completely for 2–4 hours.
Unmold and let the soap sit for 24 hours before use.
💡 Tips
Always strain fresh juices to remove pulp for a smoother soap.
Avoid adding too much turmeric, as it can make the soap very yellow and may stain washcloths.
Store finished soap in a cool, dry place.
