Warri People No Dey Complain.
We Dey Endure and Hope
This afternoon, i passed through D.S.C Roundabout, Warri, and the road construction there tell one silent story. Dust full everywhere. Traffic slow like say time sef tire. Keke and okada drivers dey find small space to pass. Traders cover their goods with nylon. Conductors dey shout. Everybody dey adjust.
But if you look well, you go see something deeper. You go see the welder under hot sun, sparks flying. You go see the young labourer carrying gravel on his head. You go see the engineer pointing, measuring, correcting.
You go see small children watching like say na cinema. That roundabout wey don cause accidents and hold traffic for years is finally getting attention. E no easy now yes, we dey sweat, we dey cough dust, we dey wait. But sometimes discomfort na the price of progress.
Warri no perfect. Delta no perfect. But if this road finish well, many businesses go breathe again. Drivers go save fuel. Movement go smooth. Today na noise and dust. Tomorrow fit be better movement. Sometimes development no dey sweet at first but, if we endure small, the story fit change. Thank you to the governor of Delta State.
