5. United States: Minimum wage is ₦1,800,000 per month (full-time equivalent), and fuel is around ₦2,800 per litre.

6. China: Minimum wage is ₦650,000 per month (highest province), and fuel is ₦1,400 per litre.

7. Saudi Arabia: Minimum wage is ₦1,950,000 per month, and fuel is under ₦300 per litre.

8. UAE: Minimum wage is ₦2,750,000 per month, and fuel is around ₦1,000 per litre.

The Obidient Movement welcomes growing citizen mobilisation nationwide, including the Village Boys Movement’s “2 Million Man March and ADC Registration Drive” in support of Peter Obi.

This signals rising political awareness and stronger civic engagement among Nigerians. The Movement recognises these grassroots efforts as key to coordinated democratic action.

The first phase holds on 28 March 2026 across Abia, Adamawa, Anambra, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Plateau, Jigawa, Kaduna, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Enugu, Kogi, and Edo States, with nationwide expansion to follow.

Citizens are encouraged to participate peacefully and lawfully in advancing democratic renewal. This moment calls for inclusive, disciplined, and result-driven engagement.

The Movement reaffirms its commitment to competence, integrity, and service, and urges stakeholders to respond responsibly to the demand for credible leadership.

Sustained change requires coordinated action, strong structures, and long-term citizen commitment.

1. Anyone who intends to contest, vote, or be voted for in the 2027 electioneering activities must register online immediately with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

2. Regarding the congresses, the party will close the register on 16th March 2026. This means that only those whose names appear on the register of the party as of 16th March 2026, when the party submits the register to INEC, will be eligible to vote and be voted for.

3. Therefore, you are strongly advised to complete your online registration on or before 14th March 2026, as printing of the register will commence on 15th March 2026.

4. If you are interested in contesting either at the congresses or during the primary elections, kindly ensure that many of your supporters also register online, so they can participate and vote for you.

5. Regarding the primary elections, the register is expected to close around 13th or 14th April 2026, accordingly.

The new digital registration platform, accessible via adcregistration.ng, is designed to enable the party meet the requirements of the new Electoral Act 2026 regarding digital membership registers.

Accordingly, only individuals whose membership details are fully captured and verified in the Party’s official digital register will be eligible to vote or be voted for in the Party’s primaries.

Since the launch of the physical and grassroots membership exercise in February, we have recorded strong interest from Nigerians across states and the diaspora.

Apart from meeting legal requirements, the introduction of the free online option is designed to remove barriers to entry, simplify enrolment, and ensure that every eligible Nigerian who wishes to identify with the ADC can do so seamlessly and securely.

Members who have registered on the Party’s previous platform are also required to revalidate their membership on the new digital portal, as additional mandatory information is now required to ensure full compliance with the Electoral Act and INEC guidelines.

Support groups and associations are also encouraged to take advantage of this window by registering at adcregistration.ng and completing the simple onboarding process.

ADC would like to emphasise that this exercise is without prejudice to our firm objections to the provisions of the Electoral Act 2026 that give undue advantage to the ruling party, as well as the consequential INEC timetable.
