In 2015, a sitting government was voted out. A new one came in with bold promises—to fix the economy, secure the nation, fight corruption, and restore hope.

Ten years later… what really changed?
This is not a rant.
This is not propaganda.
This is an audit.

The referee is not supposed to wear a jersey.
But what happens when the man in charge of elections is accused of picking a side?

Allegations. Partisan posts. Denials. A “forensic report.”
And still… no accountability.

If Nigerians can’t trust Independent National Electoral Commission, then what exactly are we voting for?
Is this confidence… or defiance backed from the top?
The credibility of the entire system is on the line.

I used to think Nigeria would get better.

I used to believe:

• Good people would rise
• Things would improve
• Our voices would matter

Now?
I’m not so sure anymore.

But I’m still here… still thinking aloud.

Nigeria is not poor. Nigeria is mismanaged.

We have:
• Oil
• Talent
• Population
• Resources

So why are we struggling?

Because a few people benefit from a broken system.

And fixing Nigeria would mean…
they lose power.

What’s ONE thing you would fix immediately?

But are we really?
When the data says otherwise—on security, economy, education, and quality of life—what exactly are we celebrating?

Is this leadership… or lowering the bar?

Nigeria deserves more than comparisons.
It deserves results.

Nigerian politicians don’t fear the people. And that’s the real problem.

In other countries: Leaders fear backlash.
In Nigeria: Leaders know nothing will happen.

No consequences.
No accountability.

Just noise on social media… then silence.

Until that changes—
Nothing else will.

Nigerians don’t actually want change!

We say we want a better country…
But we celebrate the same politicians destroying it.

We complain about corruption…
But defend it when it’s “our own.”

We shout “bad government”…
But refuse to hold anyone accountable.

Let’s be honest for once: We are part of the problem.
