Some of you have seen the picture below, soldiers dressed in traditional way and you're asking questions. Here’s what you should know:
These are Dozos, traditional hunters and warriors who have defended communities for generations. They may not wear military uniforms, but they carry deep knowledge of the land, spiritual strength and unshakable courage.
🟤 They know the forests and hidden paths. 🟤 They protect villages where no roads or bases exist. 🟤 They fight with the blessing of tradition and the spirit of the ancestors.
The government of Burkina Faso has officially recognized their value and called on them to support the national army and the VDP in the fight against terrorism.
👉🏾 So when you see them, don’t just look at the clothes, see the courage, see the sacrifice, see the patriotism.
They are not just hunters. They are heroes of the land.
