IMO STATE POLICE COMMAND, NOT READY TO RELEASE OR CHARGE MR. JUDE EGWUCHUKWU TO COURT - BIM/MASSOB ALLEGES

About 17 days after the arrest and incarceration of Mr. Jude Egwuchukwu by the Orlu police division, Tiger base of the Imo state police command, Owerri, is not ready and willing to arraign him in court to determine if he was guilty or innocent as charged.

A press release issued on Tuesday and signed by Mazi Chris Mocha, Uwazuruike's Directior of Information/ SSA to BIM/MASSOB on media and Publicity, insisted that MASSOB members are innocent and peaceful members of a non-violent organization and they are no threat to Imo state or the Federal government.


He stated that despite establishing the evidence before the investigating police officer (IPO), Asuquo at the Tiger base that the detained Egwuchukwu is a member of BIM/MASSOB, regretted that the command has kept him incommunicado since Saturday, May 20, 2023, without trial.

He stressed the fact that having arrested Mr. Egwuchukwu with some Biafra emblems or stickers, does not in anyway violate any law in the country.

He advised the police in Imo state to release Mr. Egwuchukwu or charge him to court which is the last hope of the common man to determine if he is guilty of plotting to overthrow the president of Nigeria .

BIAFRA JUDICIAL COMMISSION APPOINTS SUPREME COURTS AND APPEAL COURT JUDGES

The re elected Chief justice of Biafra internal government and minister of justice , Justice Monday Didia has appointed members of the supreme court and appeal court judges of Biafra internal government.

The appointment which cuts across the various zones and regions of Biafra , has the following as members;

Addressing the judges, justice Didia congratulated them for rising to such enviable positions in Biafra government, reminding them that their appointments was based on merit, hard work , experience and capabilities to deliver. He charged them to do more and ensure that Biafra judicial system rates at per with the global standards. He admonished them to always work in terdem with the ethics and principles guiding the legal profession .Didia adviced the judges to discharge their duties with clear heart, not minding who is involved, emphasising that justice must be given to the just, irrespective of person, positions or status in the society.

The Chief justice of Biafra internal government , therefore asked the judges to always follow the steps of our leader and father of non violent struggle in Africa who has for years impacted in us , the spirits and orientations of good practices and fairness in judgement.

Biafra Day: Recognize Biafra Now To Save Nigeria From Violent Explosion, Biafra Prime Minister Tells UN, EU, AU, Others

The Prime Minister of Biafra Internal Government, Her Excellency, Hon. Mrs Callista Amamgbo has charged the world leaders to hasten up plans in recognising Biafra as an independent nation from Nigeria.

The Biafran leader who made these call after an enlarged meeting with the directorate heads and permanent secretaries of every ministry, the chief minister of every state and her ministers with other relevant stakeholders in the state house, Owerri, Imo State Capital, task Biafrans to maintain their non violence methodology during the May 22nd commemoration of the 23rd year of the historic re-declaration of the New Biafra at faulks road, Aba, by the father of the nation and the founder/leader of BIM-MASSOB, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike on May 22nd 2000 and the 30th May heroes day. Saying that victory is on sight.

Mrs Amamgbo who is the first female to occupy the number one seat noted that Nigeria has slides into a state of comma awaiting her final death.

According to her, she said that with the current political tensions today will soon metamorphosed into violet explosion of the country. "The violent break-up will create a lot of immigration crisis that will overwhelm the African and European countries.

"As you all know, Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa with over 200 million people according to the 2006 census that the majority of Southeast and South-South people did not participate. Presently, Nigeria is estimated to be above 300 million people. How can they (Europe) manage the immigration crisis if anything happens in Nigeria?," she asked.

The Okija, Anambra State born Biafran Prime Minister, expressed worries on the silence of the Nigeria politicians and the international communities over the continuous and increasingly political tension in Nigeria to the level of military officers openly threatening to intervene in the democratic system of Nigeria. "Do they think that Nigeria as of today can survive any military coup", she asked.

"Some military officers has started suggesting to serving in their respective state of origin. History has proven that a country where their national security systems has been mered with ethnic and religious division like Nigeria, do not survive any little crisis.

"But recognizing Biafra as an independent Nation is the only one way road for both the Nigerian politicians and the International communities in averting the avoidable violent explosion of Nigeria and its consequences", She said.

Biafra Ministry Of Foreign Affairs In A Joint Meeting With ( BIG) Parliamentary Commission On Foreign Affairs.

The 4th parliament of Biafra internal government last month , April , appointed a six (6) man committee under the foreign affairs ministry to oversee and report matters of foreign policy and interest to the government of Biafra.

The committee which is to be headed by Hon. Joseph Okorie as chairman, Hon Patrick Dioha as secretary , has the following members, Beniya Orjiakor, Tobias Ikejiora, Norah Sunday, and Rev, Okoafor Obinna.

The committee according to the commission, shall report every information of vital concern to the parliament. Present in the meeting Amb. Ben Nwosu who presided the joint meeting of foreign affairs ministry and who also represent Biafra internal government ,in the West Africa sub regions. Others are Mr Eboson, who is also the national director , arts and culture as well as an active mobiliser and assyllum seeker in the Republic of Benin , Togo, and Ghana , Mr Ambrose Anyasor , the Biafra comptroller of passport, Mr Obodozie Okorienta of the Republic of Ghana.And Mr Chinedum Obioma Victor Ivery Cost.

Issues that top the agenda of the meeting include ;

*Respect for the constitution of new Biafra internal government

*Progressive diplomatic/ national and international linguistics development for foreign affairs.

* International relationship with UN charter , organs, such as UNPO, UNESCO, UNICEF, etc.

* Establishment of Biafra consolate office for Biafrans in diaspora.

* Processing, obtaining, Biafra international passports, visa, and other relevant duties

* Screening of ambassadors and consular staff before presentation to the parliament.

* Creation and maintenance of peaceful relationship with other nieghbouring countries.

* Establishment of a permanent secretariat for ministry of foreign affairs , among other things.

Biafra Minister Of Budget And Planning, Chief Aloysius Onuorah In a Meeting With His Ministerial Directors

The minister of budget and planning in the 4th session of Biafra internal government ( BIG), Hon. Aloysius Onuorah yesterday , 8th May 2023 at Ojukwu memorial Hall in Owerri, had a crucial meeting with his ministerial directors from all the regions and zones of Biafra.

The Minister in his address to the officers of the ministry encouraged them to work hard and to demonstrate their capability and clear difference from the Nigeria context.

The minister resolved to appoint state coordinators who will be charged the responsibility to coordinate zonal and regional officers of the ministry to ensure a hitch free communication and ease the burden of the ministry.

He warned ministerial directors to shorn any act capable of undermining their efforts and probably landing them into jail , because any form of misappropriation and imprudence in office shall not be treated with levity in Biafra government, he asserted.
