Ughelli Ijaws and Leadership disassociate themselves from Oloho Avenue Ijaw Community Activities
The leadership of the Ughelli Ijaws and environ today at an emergency meeting bars the alleged factional Oloho Avenue Ijaw community from the legitimate national body of the Ijaws living in Ughelli and environ.
This is coming as a reaction to a letter purportedly written by the Oloho Avenue Ijaw community vehemently rebuffing the peace efforts carried out by the national body under the leadership of Chief.Dr.Ambr. Stanley Fun-akpo Odogwu Omotie, the president -general of the Ughelli Ijaws and environ.
In a communique signed by the president himself, the nine community chairmen, the elders in council and the woman leaders, the Ughelli Ijaws have disassociated themselves from every activity of the Oloho Avenue Ijaw community including their end of year party. Consequently, every Ijaw living in Ughelli town and environ has been advised to avoid attending any event or meeting organized by the Oloho Avenue Ijaw community until they render an unreserved apology on their wanton excesses and pledge loyalty to the national body..
It was also agreed that , any of the other nine community chairmen and woman leaders who defies this directive will be sanctioned accordingly.
At press time, the letter of invitation and drink brought by the Oloho Avenue Ijaw community to the national body has been sent back to them until they do the needful by harmonizing with the rest of the Ijaws residing in the Ughelli kingdom.

The Matter you brought to my community, concerning our doing things together, our patrons conclusion with us is that, we should remain as we were ever since. Since we don't have grosses against each other..."
