What surprised you today?

Today I was surprised to know about infibulation. You may be wondering what is infibulation ? No need to worry.

It is the practice of removing the cl****is and l***a of a girl or woman and sewing the edge of the v***a to prevent in*******se. This is complete shaving of the va**na and stitches to prevent the girl from having s*x.

The va**na is sealed, leaving a small hole through which the girl can menstruate or urinate.

The girl's leg was bound with a rope for days to allow the wound to heal. The wound usually takes between 15 and 40 days to heal. During this time, the girl's legs are tied and she cannot move.

Basically, the stitches are made so that the husband can open them again on the wedding night so that he can have an intimate relationship with her. Imagine someone opening a stitch and immediately having s*x with her.

Imagine the pain, I mean intense pain!!!

Imagine the traumatic experience, the pain that the girl will go through.

Isn't it better to let him decide whether to marry a virgin than to do that?

3. Stop being Lazy

Sounds di"cult when those thoughts are inside your own mind, but
humans have a powerful tool that helps us to put thoughts at arm’s
length and give us the distance we need. It’s called metacognition,
which is a fancy name for thoughts about your thoughts.
We have this ability to think. But we also have the ability to think
about what we are thinking. Metacognition is the process of stepping
back from the thoughts and ge-ing enough distance to allow us to see
those thoughts for what they really are. When you do this, they lose
some of their power over you and how you feel and behave. You get to
choose how you respond to them rather than feeling controlled and
driven by something.
Metacognition sounds complicated but it is simply the process of
noticing which thoughts pop into your head and observing how they
make you feel. You can have a go by pausing for a few minutes and
noticing where your mind wanders to. Notice how you can choose to
focus in on a thought, like Stanley pu-ing the mask over his face, or
you can let it pass and wait for the next thought to arrive.
The power of any thought is in how much we buy into it. How much
we believe it to be true and meaningful. When we observe our own
thought processes in this way, we start to see thoughts for what they
are, and what they are not. Thoughts are not facts. They are a mix of
opinions, judgements, stories, memories, theories, interpretations, and
predictions about the future. They are ideas oered up by your brain
about ways we could make sense of the world. But the brain has limited
information to go on. The brain’s job is also to save you as much time
and energy as possible. This means it takes short-cuts and makes
guesses and predictions all the time.

It's not as though some of us aren't working hard to succeed in life; it's just that we inherited burdens our parents couldn't shoulder themselves. Children everywhere with none being able to fend for oneself. If you decide to ignore them and focus on raising your own family, you'll realize that they'll become danger fashioned against you in the future. At young age, we're raising families we didn't make. In this case, it'll be difficult for you to grow economically on time or ever. You're playing roles of a father when you are yet to marry.

If you find yourself in this condition, one vital thing you should do is to control your emotions. Don't compare yourself with others not experiencing the condition you have found yourself in. To survive in this kind of a scenario, you have to be strong-willed and possess high self-esteem. You're doing quite well, it's just that your parents failed to carry out their parental responsibilities. What should be a watchword for you should be that your own children will never experience what you have experienced of your own parents. Let this be a source of courage to you. Yielding to low esteem when you bear a humongous burden like this is a recipe for inferiority complex. Just be celebrating with others celebrating, hoping that someday it'll be your turn so long as there's what you do for a living. It's through here that your economic rapture can come from. Just have what you do for a living and doing it diligently.

Be contented with the little you are making. If you get moved by the doings of children whose parents created wealth for, you'll be finding yourself in a deep mess. Tell yourself that you're the real man, trying to build on nothing, and hoping that it'll come to pass. Also don't envy, neither should you bear hate against the children of capable parents, after all, they didn't choose parents for themselves. It's not their fault that they were born of diligent parenthood. After all, they didn't tell your own parents to be calling success and hard work products of money rituals.
