*OFFICIAL NOTICE TO ALL SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS, PARENTS & SCHOOL AUTHORITIES IN SAKI COMMUNITY*
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE
Earlier this week, the leadership of the National Union of Saki Students (NUSS NHQ) paid an official visit to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Saki. This strategic engagement aligns with our commitment to safeguarding the academic progress, discipline, and overall well-being of students of Saki origin.
In our meeting with the DPO, we extensively deliberated on the alarming rate of misconduct among secondary school students, particularly those found loitering during official school hours. As a result of this concern, NUSS NHQ has formally partnered with the Nigeria Police Force to support and enforce measures that will curb truancy, hooliganism, indecent behavior, and other forms of deviance observed among school-age youths.
We have submitted a formal agreement requesting that *any student caught outside their school premises during academic hours, without proper authorization or a genuine permission letter from school authorities*, be *detained and subjected to disciplinary measures* as prescribed by law.
This action has become necessary due to the rising cases of moral decline, poor academic commitment, and antisocial behaviors that threaten the values of our educational system and our community at large.
Therefore, we are issuing a *strong warning* to:
- *All secondary school students* to stay within school boundaries during class hours.
- *All parents and guardians* to take responsibility for their children’s conduct and ensure they are in school as required.
- *All school principals and heads of institutions* to support this initiative by sensitizing their students and providing proper documentation for any student who needs to leave school during academic periods.
Failure to comply will lead to strict enforcement by the Nigerian Police Force in collaboration with NUSS NHQ.
*Signed:*
*Com. Adebayo Qowiyu Taiwo*
President, National Union of Saki Students (NUSS NHQ)
