It's another time to dine with the most rad copywriter I have seen so far...
I know this isn't her first time holding a free masterclass, but I'm much more interested in this particular masterclass.

Why?

—There is a shift in marketing, and I don't want to be the last to know.
— Ai and copywriters, are they enemies?

All these and others will be discussed in this masterclass.

And so, I'm all up for it with Alex

Things I Once Believed About Copywriting

When I first stumbled across the term copywriting, my mind immediately went to the idea of just... writing.

Endless writing. Words pouring out, sentence after sentence, page after page.

I wasn’t entirely wrong—but I wasn’t entirely right either.

Copywriting is writing, but it’s so much more than that.

Here’s a lesson it took me a while to learn:

-if your copy feels like “writing,” stop and rewrite it.

Because copy isn’t about writing for the sake of it. It’s about selling.

But here’s the twist:

- you’re not selling a product. Not really. What you’re selling are emotions.

People don’t buy products. They buy solutions to their problems. They buy feelings—security, confidence, relief, joy.

And that’s why copywriting isn’t about weaving big words or showing off your vocabulary.

It’s not about being clever or playing with words just for the fun of it.
It’s about connection.

Great copy doesn’t shout; it whispers, “I understand you.”

What was your misconception about copywriting, share in the comment section.

Want to Master Copywriting? Don’t Do It Alone.

When I started my copywriting journey, I did what most beginners do—I devoured books, bought courses, and soaked up knowledge.

And while they were helpful, they only took me so far.

Here’s what truly accelerated my growth: joining a community of like-minded copywriters.

Why?

You learn faster when you brainstorm and share ideas with others.

You can submit your copies for critique and get actionable feedback.

You’re surrounded by people who push you to do better every day.

This isn’t a pitch for any specific course—it’s a reminder that growth happens in community.

Books and courses are great, but they can’t replace the power of collaboration.

What about you? Have you joined a copywriting community or membership course? How has it helped your journey? Share your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear from you.

Sometimes, the small wins are the ones that matter most.

—--------

Have you ever celebrated finishing a chapter, getting your first book review, or even just showing up consistently to talk about your book?

How do you feel about it?

You know, It’s easy to focus on what hasn’t gone *right* yet—like the sales you expected or the followers you don’t have.

But every little step forward is proof that you’re *doing it.*

-Maybe this week, you shared a post about your book that got a like or two.

-Maybe you had a great idea for how to connect with readers.

-Maybe you simply opened your laptop and tried.

That’s progress. That’s worth celebrating.

Don't leave them in the ocean of your thoughts.

Because every small step adds up to something big.

What’s one small win you’ve had this week? Share it below—I’d love to celebrate with you.

Why do some presentations leave you in awe while others barely hold your attention?

It's all in the weaving of storytelling.

Most storytelling starts with conflict and ends with resolution.

At least, the traditional drama structure responds to this structure.

It's a reliable formula, but not the one great storytellers use to move hearts and inspire action.

Let's take Martin Luther King Jr. 's 'I Have a Dream' speech.

He didn't just talk about the struggle; he painted a vivid picture of

-what is and contrasted it with;
-what could be.

This is the secret to unforgettable presentations—whether you're selling an idea, a service, or a product.

You show the gap between *reality* and *possibility,* pulling your audience into the story as the bridge between the two.

The question is: Are you telling stories that *stick*, or are you stuck with stories that simply end?

Because, as old as storytelling is, it remains an effective way of influencing the limbic system.

Stories go a long way in determining the choices one makes.

The better it is woven, the more persuasive it will be.

Greetings!

Most people tell stories the wrong way.

Storytelling is HUGE in marketing today.

You NEED to tell a good story to grab people's attention.

People love to be part of something.

How can you sell to someone you don't understand?

But many people don't know how to use storytelling effectively.

In marketing, you show stories, you don't just tell them.

Showing is better than telling.

When you show, you create pictures in people's minds.

For example:

Telling: "How was your day?" "My day was good."

Showing: "I woke up this morning feeling great because I had a dream about making a sale on Amazon. And guess what? It happened!"

Effective storytelling in marketing isn't about listing facts. It's about creating an emotional journey that makes your audience feel understood.

Listen up, because this might just change your entire marketing strategy…

Probably you are confused on what marketing strategy to employ. Whether social media or email…

Social media is like renting a billboard on someone else's property.

Your followers? They're not really yours.

One algorithm change, one platform drama, you just swindle between the command of the algorithm.

BUT

You can use social media as your lead generation machine.

Create scroll-stopping content, build curiosity, then funnel those interested followers into your email list.

Why?

Because in your email list, you're not competing with cat videos and dance challenges.

You're landing directly in someone's personal inbox with a personalized message that speaks DIRECTLY to them.

SO

-Social media builds awareness.
-Email builds relationships.
-Relationships build revenue.

Want to transform followers into fans who actually buy?

Make email your secret weapon.

Drop "STRATEGY" in the comments if you're ready to own your audience, not just borrow them. 🚀

Avoid these email marketing mistakes…

Hey there, the festive season is breathing down our necks...

And let me tell you something that might surprise you:👇

— Your email list is sitting on a goldmine of holiday opportunities.

Before you rush to hit "send" on those promotional emails, here's what you need to know...

— Your subscribers aren't just numbers – they're real people getting ready to celebrate, spend, and connect.

But here's the shocking truth:

Most businesses are doing holiday email campaigns completely wrong. 🎄

They're bombarding their lists with non-stop promotional content, forgetting the #1 rule of email marketing in 2024:

🎗 Connection comes before conversion.

Let me break this down into 3 eye-opening facts:

#1 Your subscribers are actually waiting to hear from you

(Yes, really!)

Studies show that email engagement spikes by 73% during the holiday season. Your audience is more attentive than ever – but only if you show up the right way.

#2 The traditional "blast and pray" approach is dead

Gone are the days when you could just send discount code after discount code...

Today's subscribers want to feel valued, appreciated, and understood before they even think about pulling out their credit cards.

#3 The "Golden Window" is shorter than you think

Most businesses wait until December 1st to start their holiday campaigns...

Big mistake.

The planning needs to start NOW if you want to maximize your festive season returns.

Here's the thing...

I've spent years perfecting the art of holiday email campaigns that don't just make sales – they build lasting relationships.

And I've mapped out a complete strategy that can help you:

-Build genuine connections with your list

- Create anticipation for your offers

- Turn subscribers into raving fans and buyers

Your passion is not the same as the time you created for it….

Success stories always mention two ingredients? Passion and time. Not just one – both.

Here's the truth I learned early: Passion is your fuel.

It's that fire that gets you jumping out of bed while others hit snooze. It's what makes you try "just one more time" when everyone else has packed up and gone home.

However, Being passionate doesn't mean being prepared.

Let me get real with you – I love writing like crazy, but that doesn't magically grant me perfect grammar or storytelling skills. (Trust me, I've checked!)

That dream of publishing my book? It's not just about pouring my heart onto paper.

It's about:

- Mastering the craft
- Understanding the industry
- Building a platform
- Marketing my work

See the pattern?

Passion points to the destination. Time paves the road to get there.

P.S. Love what you do, but respect the hours it takes to do it well. Your passion deserves that patience.

Always draw from your well because it’s renewable.

---

- Your well represents what comes naturally to you.
- You never struggle to tap into it.
- It doesn’t run dry because it can refill itself.

When you engage in what you love, you enjoy it even more.

Don't cage your true self for the sake of external expectations.

If it doesn’t resonate with you, it shouldn’t feel or sound like you.

I love to write, yes, but there are specific niches where I struggle to find my flow.

Of course, I can research those topics, but it’s not the same as writing about something I’m passionate about.

I can sit and write for hours without feeling drained when it’s about what I love.

Be true to yourself. Don’t try to be someone else at the expense of your authenticity…

It’s too dangerous.

Learn These 3 Truths About Selling…

If you've been following my post, you know I always talk about how important it is to learn how to sell.

Just having a great product isn't enough. It won't automatically bring you sales. What really matters is knowing how to sell.

So, how do you sell anything to anyone?

Here are 3 things you need to know:

📌 People buy with their hearts, not their heads

  What does this mean?

Well, there are reasons why we buy things, and those reasons are often tied to our feelings.

For example, someone might buy a house because it feels cozy, or a car because it makes them look cool.

Everyone has their own emotional reasons for buying stuff.

📌 People buy to solve problems

We all face different problems in life, and we're always looking for ways to fix them.

Your product should help people solve their problems.

When you show how your product can make someone's life easier or better, they're more likely to buy it.

📌 People buy stories, not just products

When you explain why you're selling something, it makes people more interested than just listing what the product does.

Telling a story about your product helps people imagine how it fits into their lives.

P.S. Remember, we're all social creatures. We learn from each other and copy what others do.
