I normally don’t speak about things trending on social media, but I feel led to say this.
I will never be among those speaking evil about Ebuka Obi or Fr. Mbaka. I love and respect both of them deeply. God is using them mightily in their different ways, and through their ministries many souls have been delivered, restored, and drawn closer to God.
The Bible clearly warns us about judging others.
Matthew 7:1 says: “udge not, that ye be not judged.
Also the scripture reminds us in 1 Chronicles 16:22:
Touch not my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.
But today, many of us who call ourselves children of God are quick to judge the very servants of God we should be praying for. Chai… it is painful to see believers tearing down men who have sacrificed their lives for the work of the Kingdom.
Instead of praying for peace and understanding between them, many people have turned the situation between Ebuka Obi and Fr. Mbaka on social media into content, arguments, and mockery. We should remember that behind every post are real people and real ministries, and spreading negativity can affect not only them but even those posting it.
May God have mercy on us, because sometimes we truly do not know what we are doing.
Let us not forget that we all serve one God. When someone constantly mocks or condemns the work or prophecy of a man of God, they should be careful because in some cases they may unknowingly be speaking against what God Himself is doing.
As believers, our duty is simple: pray, not judge. If there is any misunderstanding between these two servants of God, may the Lord Himself settle it and let His peace reign.
Let love lead. Let prayer lead. 🙏
