HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ELEGANT BIG MUMMY, MRS. OTAVERHO CALABAR ICHIPI.

Today, I join the entire Oki family dynasty and the Mosogar Kingdom to celebrate my aunty, big mummy, and a great daughter of the Urhobo Nation, Mrs. Otaverho Calabar Ichipi, on the special occasion of her birthday.

In fact, her support towards me, the Oki family, and other sons and daughters of Mosogar Kingdom is beyond measure.

Her life has been a blessing to humanity, and we always cherish her zeal towards putting a smile on the faces of others, even those she has never met before.

Through the Calabar-Oki Foundation, she reaches out to those facing certain challenges and encourages education and skills in the Mosogar Kingdom. She has touched many of our young ones, including the less privileged.

On this special day, may God Almighty grant you long life, victory, sound mind, good health, blessings, strength, and peace in all ramifications.

AMORI FELICITATES ORODJE OF OKPE ON 20TH CORONATION ANNIVERSARY

The Adjerese of Okpe Kingdom and Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Sen. (Chief) Dr. Ighoyota Amori JP, has joined the people of Okpe Kingdom and the entire Urhobo Nation to felicitate with the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, HRM, Maj. Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd.), Orhue I, on the occasion of his 20th Coronation Anniversary.

Sen. Amori, in a goodwill message, congratulated the revered monarch for attaining two decades on the throne, describing the anniversary as a significant milestone in the history of Okpe Kingdom.

According to him, the 20 years of the monarch's reign have been marked by remarkable achievements, purposeful leadership, peace, unity and meaningful development across Okpe Kingdom.

The Adjerese noted that since ascending the ancient throne of Okpe Kingdom, the Orodje has demonstrated strong commitment to the progress, unity and development of his people.

He described the reign of HRM Maj. Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd.), Orhue I as a fruitful and productive reign, stressing that the monarch has contributed immensely to moving Okpe Kingdom forward.

Sen. Amori said the Orodje has, over the years, continued to provide the traditional leadership required to preserve the identity, customs, and values of the Okpe people.

He explained that the monarch's leadership has gone beyond the traditional institution, as his wisdom and experience have continued to contribute to peace and unity within Okpe Kingdom and the larger Urhobo Nation.

Sen. Amori therefore congratulated the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom on his 20th Coronation Anniversary and wished him many more years of peaceful and successful reign on the throne.

He also extended his congratulations to the Okpe Traditional Council, chiefs, elders, sons and daughters of Okpe Kingdom, as well as the entire Urhobo Nation, for witnessing the historic anniversary.

“May the reign of His Royal Majesty continue to bring peace, unity, progress and prosperity to Okpe Kingdom. May God continue to grant our revered monarch wisdom, strength and good health to lead his people,” Sen. Amori said.

2027: WHY DELTANS MUST STAND WITH SHERIFF OBOREVWORI AND PRESIDENT TINUBU FOR CONSOLIDATED PROGRESS

As Delta State marches confidently towards the 2027 general elections, one truth has become self-evident across the 25 Local Government Areas: Governor Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori has earned a second term, and Deltans have every reason to give him their total support, with their last drop of blood, alongside our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Governor Oborevwori is not a governor of propaganda. He is a governor of projects, of people, and of peace.

*THE HUMAN FACE OF THE M.O.R.E. AGENDA*

When Governor Oborevwori unveiled his *M.O.R.E. Agenda - Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security* - many thought it was mere slogan. Today, it is a living reality touching every Deltan.

*M - Meaningful Development:* From Warri to Asaba, from Oghara to Ozoro, the state is a construction site. The landmark N78 billion Warri/Effurun flyovers and road expansion, the massive road reconstructions in Ughelli, Sapele, Ika and Ndokwa, the completion of the Oghareki Model Technical College, the procurement of the giant power transformer to give steady energy to DELSUTH at Oghara, and the massive intervention in urban renewal and rural roads are proofs that this is infrastructure with human impact.

*O - Opportunities for All:* Through the D-CARES scheme, MORE Grant, and massive empowerment of artisans, market women, youths and farmers, over 200,000 Deltans have been directly empowered. Students now enjoy bursary payments without lobbying, pensioners are no longer forgotten as arrears are being cleared, and civil servants receive their salaries and promotion arrears promptly. This is government with a human face.

*R - Realistic Reforms:* The Oborevwori administration has reformed procurement, blocked leakages, and ensured that every kobo works for Deltans. Projects are completed with quality, not abandoned.

*E - Enhanced Peace and Security:* This is where Delta has become a model for the entire federation.

*PEACE AS THE BEDROCK OF DEVELOPMENT*

Governor Oborevwori understands that no development thrives without peace. That is why he strengthened the *Peace Building and Conflict Resolution Unit*, headed by the sagacious and God-fearing Sir Chief Edwin Chukwunwike obioha uzorJP..ksc. MPA.ciard (uk)FHNR. FCIA. FICMC., Special Adviser to the Governor as head of the Delta State Peace Building and Conflict Resolution.

Under Chief Uzor's leadership, the Governor assembled a cream of tested Peace Apostles and bridge-builders who have made reconciliation less cumbersome and more result-oriented. Men of timber and calibre like *Chief Benson Odjiyovwi Okorodudu JP, Chf Dr Duncan Oghenochuko Ewhere JP, MPA., FHNR, AICMC., Chf Barr Jerry EruvwededeJP., Chf Dr Austin Atiti JP., Prof Foke Akpomrere, Chf John Oraka, Hon Patrick F. Okei* and a host of other eminent Deltans who daily traverse creeks, communities and kingdoms, dousing tensions, mediating land disputes, and reconciling political differences to the siration of His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.

Because of this quiet but effective peace architecture, Delta today is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria. Communities that were in crisis are now in dialogue. This is Sheriff's magic - he builds roads and he builds people.

*WHY ALIGNMENT WITH PRESIDENT TINUBU MATTERS*

Governor Oborevwori has shown rare statesmanship with his strong, strategic commitments and unapologetic alignment with *President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. While others play politics of bitterness, our Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori plays politics of inclusiveness and development.

This alignment has opened doors for federal presence in Delta, federal appointments for our sons and daughters, and federal collaboration for our ports, roads and gas industrialization. For Delta to benefit more, we must pull through President Tinubu in 2027 and also pull through Governor Oborevwori. These are winning tickets to very marketable candidates of the APC for progress at the federal and consolidation at the state.

*A CALL TO ALL DELTANS*

I therefore call on all Deltans from all walks of life - Urhobo, Itsekiri, Ijaw, Isoko, Anioma, youths, women, elders, market leaders, students unions, traditional rulers and chiefs - to key into this M.O.R.E. Agenda to achieve this success story and make it a reality.

Let us wrap into the Oborevwori initiatives. Let us support him with our PVCs, our voices, our prayers and our last drop of blood to see him through till 2031, and see President Tinubu through to complete the good reforms he has started for Nigeria to succeed.

The end of all these processes shall be returned in praise to God for the benefit of every Deltan.

Sheriff is working, Deltans are seeing it, and 2027 will confirm the strategies to pull us to the next level.

HON. OKI EBEIGBE REDEEMS PROMISE, PRESENTS FREE SCHOOL UNIFORMS TO 20 PUPILS IN MOSOGAR

In another effort to support education and encourage pupils in Mosogar Kingdom, the Councilor representing Mosogar Ward 1 in the Ethiope West Legislative Assembly and Majority Leader, Hon. Oki Ebeigbe, has fulfilled his promise by providing free school uniforms to 20 pupils of Ighoyota Primary School, Mosogar.

The uniforms were officially presented to the beneficiaries during a brief ceremony held at the school on Friday, July 17, 2026, bringing smiles and excitement to the faces of the pupils, teachers and other well-wishers present.

The presentation fulfilled a promise Hon. Oki Ebeigbe made during an earlier visit to the school when he donated 30 chairs to improve the learning environment. On that occasion, he assured the school that he would also sponsor the sewing of uniforms for some pupils, especially those who needed support.

True to his word, the councilor returned to the school to redeem that pledge, demonstrating his commitment to the welfare and education of children in his constituency.

Speaking during the presentation, the Head Teacher of Ighoyota Primary School, Mrs. Patricia Edafiajeke, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Oki Ebeigbe for keeping his promise.

She described the gesture as a great encouragement to both the pupils and the school, noting that many people make promises but fail to fulfill them. According to her, Hon. Oki Ebeigbe has shown that he is a leader who values integrity and cares about the future of children.

Mrs. Edafiajeke thanked him for his continued support for the school, adding that the earlier donation of 30 chairs and the provision of uniforms would help create a better learning environment and boost the confidence of the beneficiaries.

Hon. Oki Ebeigbe was accompanied to the event by Chief Moses Emujakporue, Chief Hon. Victor Aghwe, Hon. Alex Orovwighose and other supporters, who joined him in celebrating with the pupils and staff of the school.
