Edugist Impact Newsroom and Innovation Lab devoted to education in Africa. Edugist® is a pioneering impact-focused newsroom and innovation lab devoted to education.

We drive change by providing vital data, reporting education news, leading advocacy, and driving initiatives to ensure inclusive and high-quality education for all in Africa. Our approach to education change is hinged on four pillars. Education Journalism: With veteran journalists, our newsroom tells the stories of education in Africa on air, online, in person and across communities. Our in-depth

journalism uses research, data and stories from every sphere of the education ecosystem to show the public how education can be improved and why it matters. We report on the powerful forces, fascinating people and innovative practices shaping education, and partner with the continent's leading newspapers, websites, radio and television stations to amplify the education conversation by providing our content to them for free. Innovation: Our lab is an innovation hub and research centre for seeking solutions for the myriad of issues in the education sector in Africa. We also accelerate and incubate University startups. some expertise at the lab includes education and media development, research, policy and advocacy, program design and implementation, entrepreneurship education, climate change and wellbeing in education. Knowledge and Training: Our academy is a pathway for digital literacy, educational leadership and media education. Edugist academy drives media and information literacy (MIL), disinformation/misinformation and fact-checking within the school system for students, teachers and educators. Content Production: Our studio specialise in impact storytelling, documentary, campaigns & dissemination for our partners in the development sector. Join the movement, let's change the education narrative in Africa.
