Florence removes $10 from her listings, yet it doesn't increase her sales; it only does more harm than good.
Yes, owning an e-commerce store comes with a lot of challenges, especially when you are just starting out. At some point, you'll feel frustrated and might even blame yourself for why you started out in the first place.
I've communicated with a small business owner before, and during our conversation, Florence made me understand that things have been really tough for her. To the extent that she has had to reduce the price by $10 on all of her listings. This is not because the product is not expensive; in fact, on every sale, she is losing nothing less than $10 and more.
However, Florence believes that doing so will help her get sales faster. She doesn't mind the debt that comes with it, š and at the end of the day, only her friends who she advertises her business to buy from her store. The worst part is that they don't even leave a review after purchasing the product.
The reason why Florence is having this problem is that she started a store without having a goal for marketing, i.e., how to get sales and the strategy to use in order to direct quality traffic to her store.
Don't be like Florence; have a written goal for your business. This way, you'll always focus on what's next instead of staying worried.
