SENATOR KAWU CONGRATULATES SENATOR ABDULAZIZ YARI ON APPOINTMENT AS DG, APC 2027 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL
Senator Suleiman Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila, OFR, PhD, has congratulated his good friend and colleague, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, former Governor of Zamfara State, on his appointment as the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 presidential election.
Senator Kawu described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Senator Yari’s wealth of political experience, exceptional leadership qualities, loyalty to the party and longstanding contributions to the development and strengthening of the APC.
The Senator representing Kano South Senatorial District expressed confidence that Senator Yari would bring his vast experience, strategic insight and leadership capacity to bear in coordinating the activities of the Presidential Campaign Council and mobilising party members and supporters across the country.
Senator Kawu also congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who will serve as Chairman of the Campaign Council; Vice President Kashim Shettima, Vice Chairman; APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda; Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, who will serve as Secretary; and all other distinguished leaders and members appointed to the various directorates and committees of the Council.
He noted that the broad-based composition of the Campaign Council demonstrates the APC’s commitment to harnessing the experience, capacity and contributions of leaders and stakeholders from across the country towards securing victory for the party in the 2027 presidential election.
“I warmly congratulate my good friend and brother, Distinguished Senator Abdulaziz Yari, on his well-deserved appointment as Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council. I have no doubt that his wealth of experience, leadership qualities and commitment to our great party will contribute immensely to the success of the campaign.
“I equally congratulate all the distinguished members of the Campaign Council on their appointments. I am confident that, working together under the leadership of our President, we will achieve a resounding victory for the APC in the 2027 presidential election, Insha Allah.”
Senator Kawu called on all members and supporters of the APC to remain united, focused and committed to the collective task of consolidating the gains of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration and presenting the party’s achievements and vision to Nigerians.
He wished Senator Yari and all members of the Presidential Campaign Council success in their respective assignments and assured them of his continued support and prayers as they work towards victory for the APC in 2027.
