FRAUD: Balthazar Egonga Sentenced to 18 Years in Prison

Balthazar Egonga has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after being found guilty of embezzling public funds in one of the largest financial scandals in recent memory.

Egonga, along with several accomplices, was convicted of misappropriating 1 billion CFA francs from government coffers. Investigators revealed that Egonga personally pocketed 910 million francs — the lion’s share of the stolen amount.
According to court documents, Egonga used the illicit funds to fund a lavish lifestyle, reportedly spending heavily on luxury goods and romantic relationships.

The presiding judge described the crime as “a grave betrayal of public trust” and emphasized the need for accountability at all levels of government.

Egonga’s co-conspirators are expected to face sentencing later this month.

PILOT OF AIR INDIA FLIGHT THAT CRASHED YESTERDAY IDENTIFIED

Mangalore’s Clive Kunder, the co-pilot of the Air India 🇮🇳 flight that crashed today at Ahmedabad which was bound to fly to London 🇬🇧 Clive based in Mumbai has his roots from Mangalore. Clive, who had clocked 1,100 hours of flying experience, was assisting Captain Sumeet Sabharwal, a Line Training Captain with over 8,200 flying hours. The two were at the controls when the aircraft, carrying 232 passengers—including two infants—and 12 crew members, went down approximately five minutes into the flight. Om Shanthi 🙏@

The man in the photo, Pratik Joshi lived in London for six years.

As confirmed, he was a software engineer who tirelessly worked to relocate his wife and kids back in India to join him in London.

After years of waiting for due clearances, the dream was finally coming true.

Just two days ago, his wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, his wife, resigned from her job to relocate with her husband and kids to London.

Speaking from his hospital bed in Ahmedabad, Vishwash told the Hindustan Times, “Thirty seconds after take-off, there was a loud noise and then the plane crashed. It all happened so quickly. When I got up, there were bodies all around me. I was scared. I stood up and ran. There were pieces of the plane all around me."
