Sunday Rice

Today, I suddenly remembered those beautiful days when we were growing up. ❤️

Back then, Sundays were special because everyone looked forward to one thing—Sunday rice! 🍚😂

The excitement would start from morning. And whenever Daddy wanted to make the day extra memorable, he would buy soft drinks to go with the white rice and stew. Ah! Those Sundays were simply wonderful. 🥰

But let me tell you… any Sunday my parents couldn't afford to make rice, it was automatically a sad Sunday in our house. 😂 Everyone would be disappointed, and somehow, everybody would be angry!

Looking back now, I realize it wasn't really about the rice. It was the joy, togetherness, and beautiful memories we created as a family. ❤️

Sometimes, the simplest things from our childhood become the memories we cherish the most.

Who else grew up with “Sunday Rice” as a family tradition? 😂🍚❤️
