TOPIC: FINANCIAL DOMINION FOR KINGDOM ADVANCEMENT

SCRIPTURE: Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the Lord shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. Zechariah 1:17

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The spread of God's kingdom in the earth requires the availability of kingdom resources.

One major purpose of financial dominion amongst God’s children is the advancement of God's kingdom on the earth. God does not release resources to His people merely for personal comfort; He does so to facilitate the spread of His kingdom and establish His purposes in the earth.

Our anchor Scripture reveals that prosperity is one of God's instruments for kingdom expansion. The spread of God's kingdom across communities, cities, territories and nations often requires substantial resources.

The preaching of the Gospel, missionary endeavours, neighbourhood outreaches, crusades, medical outreaches, welfare interventions, and other kingdom activities, all require financial power. Every major move of God in the earth demands the availability of people who are willing and able to sow into kingdom assignments.

For example, when large evangelistic outreaches are organized, enormous resources are usually needed for transportation, logistics, technical support, accommodation, welfare ministration, and many other operational needs. Without resources, many kingdom assignments would remain visions rather than realities.

This explains why the enemy is not comfortable with a prosperous Church. A financially handicapped Church will struggle to carry out the Great Commission effectively. Poverty can limit movement, restrict outreach, and hinder the ex*****on of divine assignments.

There are many believers whose hearts burn with passion for souls and nations, yet they are unable to pursue those burdens because they lack the resources to do so. Their spirit is willing, but their pocket is weak. God desires to bring His people into financial dominion so they can actively participate in the spread of the Gospel and the advancement of His kingdom.

Financial dominion is also essential for the building of God's sanctuaries in the earth. That is why Isaiah 45:13 says, I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city. Throughout Scripture, God used men of substance to establish places of worship and facilitate His work among His people.

David was a remarkable example. His love for God compelled him to prepare abundantly for the building of the temple of God. In 1 Chronicles 29, David testified that he had prepared with all his might for the house of the Lord, giving generously from his personal treasures in addition to all that had been gathered for the project. His affection for God's House translated into sacrificial financial commitment.

Beloved, kingdom advancement requires kingdom resources. God is looking for men and women who will not only possess financial dominion but will also dedicate their resources to the promotion of His agenda on the earth. When God prospers His people, one of His expectations is that they become active participants in the spread of the Gospel and the establishment of His kingdom.

REMEMBER THIS: The spread of God's kingdom in the earth requires the availability of kingdom resources.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Pray for God to make you a financial giant for kingdom advancement.

2. Commit yourself to giving towards evangelism, mission works, and other kingdom projects as God enables you.

3. Refuse to see prosperity as a personal achievement alone; view it as a tool for advancing God's purposes on the earth.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the light of Your Word. Make me a willing and faithful channel of Your resources for kingdom advancement. Cause me to prosper so I can actively participate in the spread of the Gospel and the building of Your kingdom, Lord, in Jesus' Name.

TOPIC: PRAYING WITH THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF GOD’S ALMIGHTINESS.

SCRIPTURE: Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
Jeremiah 32:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Effective prayer is built on the revelation that nothing is too hard for God.

The knowledge of the Almightiness of God is a major basis for the effectiveness or potency of our prayer. Our prayer is enhanced or boosted by our knowledge of the Almightiness and Omnipotence of God. We pray with confidence because we know that God can do all things. He is never bankrupt of power or might.

The Almightiness of God means we are not serving a weak God. We are not serving a God who is helpless, beggarly, or apologetic to get things done. We serve the Almighty God, the God of all possibilities.

No wonder, Jeremiah 32:17 says, Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

Furthermore, in Jeremiah 32:27, God Himself declares, Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? The answer is a capital, “NO.” Nothing is too hard for God.

The omnipotence of God is the foundation of our confidence in prayer. When you know the capacity of the God you are praying to, fear and doubt automatically disappear.

As a child of God, while growing up in the faith, I was always fascinated by the Power of God.

The reality that God can do anything pulled me strongly to Him. The fact that there is no impossibility with God continues to strengthen faith, giving me confidence in prayer.

Jesus said in Mark 10:27, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. That means there is no situation that is beyond the scope of God’s Power to handle. There is no challenge too difficult for God. No bo***ge is too strong for Him. No sickness is beyond His healing power. No circumstance can exhaust His ability. Our prayer life becomes dynamic when we understand that we are dealing with the Almighty God, the God of all possibilities.

Beloved, when you truly know the greatness of God’s Power, impossibilities lose their strength before you. The God you serve is Almighty, and there is absolutely nothing too hard for Him.

REMEMBER THIS: Effective prayer is built on the revelation that nothing is too hard for God.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Refuse to magnify your challenges above the Power of God.

2. Build your confidence in prayer by meditating on the omnipotence and Almightiness of God.

3. Approach every situation with the understanding that God can do all things.

PRAYER: Father, thank You because You are the Almighty God, and nothing is impossible for You. Deliver me from the spirit of doubt and unbelief and help me to trust completely in Your Almighty Power and omnipotent ability, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE NECESSITY OF FAITH.

SCRIPTURE: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is...
Hebrews 11:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faith is the platform for possessing our inheritance and experiencing answered prayers.

The Scripture makes it abundantly clear that faith is essential for accessing our inheritance as contained in the promises of God through His Word. Everything God has made available for His children is accessed through faith. Faith is the spiritual arm with which believers receive their possessions, inherit the promises, and secure answers to prayers.

Our possibilities in God may be equal, but our realities are different because faith differs in level. The limit of a person’s faith is the limit of their inheritance and manifestations in life.
Now, why is faith such a non-negotiable necessity?

1. Possessions answer to faith. Hebrews 6:12 says: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Furthermore, Hebrews 11:33 reveals how men of old subdued kingdoms and obtained promises through faith. Beloved, inheritance in God answers to faith. No wonder, Psalm 27:13 says: I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. This means faith believes before manifestation appears. Faith sees the possibility ahead of physical reality. The promises of God are received by the arm of faith. That is why the paralysis of faith results in the bankruptcy of inheritance.

When your faith is weak, your chances of possessing your inheritance are bleak. The limit of your faith is the limit of your inheritance.

1. Faith is the force behind answered prayers. Hebrews 11:6 says, But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Mark 11:24 further tells us: What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Beloved, faith is a vital requirement for answered prayers. Many people pray, but not many truly expect answers because faith is absent from their prayers.

The faith content of prayer is what determines the possibility of answers. Prayer must not be based on sentiment, emotions, or assumptions, but on faith powered by revelation or insight from the Word of God.

Therefore, to pray effectively, you must know that God is real; you must know what He has said concerning your situation; you must do what He expects of you and stand confidently on His promises.

Faith stands on the integrity of God's Word. It approaches God with confidence, not because of feelings, but because of revelation and obedience. When you know God's Will and align with His principles, your prayer is offered from the position of faith and expectation.

For example, a person praying for financial blessing while refusing to give or tithe is neglecting the principles that govern divine provision.

Scripture says, Give, and it shall be given unto you... (Luke 6:38). It also says, Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse... (Malachi 3:10). Faith is not merely asking God for results; it is obeying God's instructions while trusting Him to fulfil His Word.

Beloved, when revelation, obedience, and confidence align together, faith becomes solid, and prayer produces undeniable results.

REMEMBER THIS: Faith is the platform for possessing inheritance and experiencing answered prayers.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Build your faith continually through the study of God’s Word.
2. Refuse faith paralysis and remain confident in God’s promises.
3. Pray from revelation and not from mere emotion or sentiment.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to walk in higher dimensions of faith. Help me to possess my inheritance and experience answers to prayers continually, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: HE DID IT BEFORE; HE CAN DO IT AGAIN

SCRIPTURE: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What God has done before, He can do again.

We serve a God who has a track record of answering prayers. That is why a major basis of our prayer is the record of what God has done before. His previous acts or manifestations are pointers to His present and future acts and manifestations. We pray with confidence because God has continued to prove Himself throughout all generations.

Hebrews 13:8 confirms that God does not change. What He did before, He is still able to do today. We know what He will do today because we saw what He did yesterday. We know what He will do tomorrow because we are seeing what He is doing today. What He did in another person’s life is a revelation of what is possible in our own lives.

In Exodus 3:14, God introduced Himself to Moses as “I AM THAT I AM.” In other words, whatever you have known Him to be before is what He still is. If He healed yesterday, He still heals today. If He delivered before, He still delivers now. If He changed stories in the past, He still changes stories in the present. If He scattered the works of darkness in ancient times, He still scatters the works of darkness in contemporary times. He is still the same God today, tomorrow and forever!

Malachi 3:6 corroborates His unchanging nature: For I am the Lord, I change not... God is consistent in nature, power, mercy, and faithfulness.

In Luke 1:36-37, the Angel told Mary about Elizabeth’s miraculous conception, declaring: For with God nothing shall be impossible. Thus, the testimony of Elizabeth became a prophecy for Mary. In essence, the Angel appeared to be saying, “If God did it for Elizabeth, yours is also possible.”

Beloved, when you see God move in another person’s life, do not become envious; become inspired. Testimonies are revelations of possibilities.

Genesis 21:1-2 reveals to us God’s faithfulness to Sarah: And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. God has a track record of saying it and doing it.

That is why testimonies should never be despised. Revelation 19:10 says, For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Every genuine testimony is a prophecy announcing what God is still able to do.

Beloved, the God who did it before can do it again. Testimonies are not stories meant for entertainment; they are prophetic proofs that God is still at work.

REMEMBER THIS: What God has done before, He can do again.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Study the testimonies and miracles in Scripture to strengthen your faith.
2. Refuse to envy those God has helped; let their testimonies inspire you.
3. Stand firmly on the unchanging nature and faithfulness of God.

PRAYER: Father, thank You because You are the unchanging God with a proven track record of faithfulness. Strengthen my faith through Your Word and testimonies and help me to trust You for everything and in every situation. Do in my life what only You can do, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
