NIGER STATE BUR!ED 37 CHILDREN THEN SHOT PEOPLE WHO ASKED WHY 🚨🚨🚨
They were just boys. Between 14 and 18 years old. They were arrested for illegal mining in Niger State.
67 of them were locked inside a small cell built for only 17 people. They were suffocating. They screamed for help. Nobody listened.
On Thursday morning, 37 of them were found d3ad inside the cell.
First, NSCDC said it was disease outbreak. Later, the Governor admitted they were children. Then forensic report showed foam mixed with blood, peeling skin, signs of methane, cyanide or lead poisoning.
But what happened next? They buried all 37 bodies the same Thursday. Quick burial. Islamic rite. No proper autopsy. No independent investigation.
On Friday, Niger youths could not hold it again. They took to the streets of Minna. They carried sticks and demanded answers. They blocked roads. They chant3d "Justice Must Be Done."
Instead of answers, security forces responded with live bull3ts. Many protesters were sh0t.
Amnesty International has condemned the k!lling of protesters. Global Rights also condemned the use of live am******on on peaceful youths. SERAP has now written to 4 UN Special Rapporteurs demanding independent probe. Interior Minister has suspended the NSCDC Commandant in Niger.
But suspension is not justice. How can the same government that owns NSCDC investigate NSCDC?
ANALYSIS:
This is not new in Nigeria. History is repeating itself.
In 1998, security forces sh0t pro-democracy protesters in Ibadan. In 2016, Amnesty said military k!lled over 150 pro-Biafra protesters. In 2020, soldiers opened f!re at protesters at Lekki Tollgate. Each time, panel was set up. Each time, nobody went to jail.
Niger State is already bleeding from bandits. Over 250 students were kidnapped in Papiri in Nov 2025. Worshippers were abducted in Borgu in August 2026. Over 30 people k!lled in Kabe in January. 9 LGAs are under heavy bandit attacks.
Now the people are trapped between bandits who kidnap them and security forces who should protect them. Both can k!ll them.
These boys went to dig for gold because of poverty. They were not politicians. They were not rich. They d!ed in a cell screaming for help. And when their people asked WHY, they were sh0t again.
What kind of country k!lls your children and then sh0ots you for mourning them?
We demand independent autopsy. We demand justice for the 37 children.
