5 THINGS YOU SHOULD OBSERVE BEFORE MARRYING SOMEONE — NOT JUST HEAR.

1. HOW THEY HANDLE YOUR “NO.”
A person who respects you only when you agree with them does not truly respect you.

2. HOW THEY HANDLE YOUR SUCCESS.
Pay attention to whether they celebrate your growth or quietly compete with it.

3. HOW THEY SPEAK ABOUT PEOPLE WHO CAN NO LONGER BENEFIT THEM.
Today it is their ex, friend, colleague or relative. Tomorrow, it could be you.

4. HOW THEY HANDLE DISAGREEMENT.
Marriage will bring disagreements. You need someone who knows how to disagree without destroying your dignity.

5. WHETHER THEIR ACTIONS MATCH THEIR VALUES.
Don't marry promises. Watch patterns.

Before marriage, don't just study how someone treats you when they want you. Study how they behave when they are disappointed, angry, successful and no longer trying to impress you.

That's where character becomes visible.

5 QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF BEFORE SAYING “I DO.”

1. Can I be myself around this person without constantly performing?

2. Do I feel respected even when we disagree?

3. If this person never changed from who they are today, would I still choose them?

4. Am I choosing this person because they are right for me, or because I am afraid of being alone?

5. Do I admire their character, or am I simply attracted to their potential?

Because one of the biggest mistakes people make in relationships is marrying the person they hope someone will become instead of the person standing in front of them.

Don't marry potential. Marry character.

5 THINGS I THINK YOU MUST CHECK IN A MAN OR WOMAN BEFORE YOU SAY “I DO.”

Love is important, but marriage requires more than butterflies. Before you say “yes,” look beyond attraction.

1. HOW THEY HANDLE POWER.
Watch how they treat people they believe they don't need. Character shows when there is no benefit to being nice.

2. HOW THEY HANDLE CORRECTION.
Can they admit when they are wrong, or must everyone else apologize just to keep peace?

3. THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH RESPONSIBILITY.
Don't only ask what they want from marriage. Watch how they handle money, work, commitments, family and consequences.

4. HOW THEY BEHAVE WHEN ANGRY.
Anybody can be sweet when everything is going their way. Pay attention to who they become when they are frustrated.

5. WHO THEY ARE WHEN NOBODY IS WATCHING.
Don't marry someone's public image. Study their private character.

Before you say “I do,” don't just ask, “Do I love this person?”

Ask yourself:

“Do I trust the character of the person I'm choosing?”

Because chemistry can start a relationship, but character is what you will live with. 🔥

Just imagine!! I so much hate this set of women honestly.

You see this set of women who will defend their husbands even when the husband is clearly wrong?

A man sexually violates a 17-year-old girl, and instead of protecting the child, you are busy begging her to keep quiet because you have “forgiven” your husband.

Forgiven him for WHAT exactly? 🤦🏽‍♀️

You are not the victim here. You are not the person who was violated.

The girl is 17. She has every right to speak. She has every right to leave that house. She has every right to tell her parents what happened.

And that ridiculous line, “I am the one he wronged directly” — please, hear yourself.

Your husband being your husband does not make his wrongdoing against another person disappear.

Some women have become so obsessed with protecting their marriages that they will protect a man's reputation even when he has done something completely unacceptable.

Then tomorrow, when that man does something worse, everyone will ask, “How did he become this kind of person?”

Sometimes, people become comfortable doing evil because the person closest to them keeps cleaning up the mess.

Marriage is not a license to defend nonsense.

If your husband is wrong, he is wrong.
If he violates someone, he should answer for it.
Your ring does not make you his accomplice.

And before anyone comes with “but he apologized” — an apology does not erase what happened.

Protecting your husband from consequences is not the same thing as protecting your marriage.

Say it with sense or don't say it at all. 😏

To be honest, every woman needs a period-tracking app. ❤️

Yes, especially young ladies who have just started seeing their period.

I highly recommend Flo because it helps you keep track of your period, understand your cycle, know when your next period may come, and get an estimate of your fertile days and ovulation.

Some women don't even know how to count their cycle, and there is absolutely nothing embarrassing about that. Start learning about your body early. ❤️

Ladies, don't just see your period every month and forget about it. Track it. Understand it. Know your body.

I recommend Flo for every woman, especially young ladies who are just starting their menstrual journey.

Your body is yours. Learn it. ❤️

Would you recommend a period-tracking app to your younger sister or daughter? 👇

Let’s talk about people who age-shame others, especially men.

Do you have a personal agreement with God about the exact age you will die?

If you don’t, then why shame someone for being a particular age as if growing older is something to be ashamed of?

And this is just my own take: if you age-shame someone because of their age, just know that you may never reach that age yourself.

I’m not being emotional here. I’m simply saying—age is not an achievement you should mock, and growing older is not a crime. And if you hate old age too much, may you never reach it..🙏

You are getting older too. So, instead of shaming people for their age, learn to respect every stage of life.

Nobody knows how many birthdays they have left. Be careful with your words!!
