Former Minister Of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, while speaking in a recent interview on Afia TV has questioned why there should be opposition to the creation of Biafra if non-Igbos believe they cannot accommodate the Igbo people in Nigeria.

Nebo made the statement while reacting to a statement made by an imam, saying that Nigeria belongs to Muslims and the Northern part of nigeria. According to Prof. Nebo, the statement can only be interpreted to mean that, no matter how bad, how corrupt, or how incompetent a Muslim can be, he will always be the president of Nigeria.

He suggested that the whole argument meant that other regions in the country are not accommodated, including the Igbo People.

He further asked why the demand for Biafra should be considered a problem if the people involved believe they can no longer coexist comfortably within the Nigerian federation..
