Ada owned a small piece of farmland. Every morning she prayed for rain, yet the sky stayed dry for weeks.
Her neighbor, Mama Grace, had a larger farm and didn’t seem to worry. She still went out every day, clearing weeds and planting more seeds.

One morning Ada asked,

“Why do you keep planting when the rain hasn’t come?”

Mama Grace smiled and said,

“Because when the rain finally falls, only those who planted will rejoice.”

Ada went home and began to clear her small land. She planted her few seeds even under the hot sun.
Weeks later, the heavens opened, and the rain came pouring down. Mama Grace’s field flourished — and so did Ada’s. Those who waited to see the rain before planting had nothing to harvest.

Don’t wait for everything to look perfect before you obey God or take a step of faith.
Blessings often come to those who prepare in dry seasons.
Faith is planting even when the sky is empty — trusting that God will send the rain.
