In this hard economy, finding over ₦400,000 in a passenger’s bag and choosing to return it is not something everyone would do.

But commercial bus driver Mr. Onyekachi Ikpendu chose honesty over temptation after a passenger, Mrs. Nkechi John, accidentally left her bag containing the money and other belongings in his vehicle.

The money was reportedly business funds belonging to the petty trader. After discovering the bag, the driver kept it safely and waited for the owner to return.

His reason was simple:

“No amount of money I see now will move me to take what does not belong to me.”

Honestly, this deserves appreciation. In a time when many people are struggling financially, this man could have taken the money and disappeared. Instead, he chose integrity.

This is the kind of story that makes you appreciate the good still existing among our people.

But now, Nigerians are asking:

Did the woman reward this honest driver for his integrity?

And should the owner of the money give Mr. Ikpendu a handsome reward for doing the right thing?

What would you do if you found ₦400,000 belonging to someone else?

📌“𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲” — 𝗡𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗱𝗶 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝘂’𝘀 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗞 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗽

There is a development coming out of the United Kingdom that is difficult for many Biafrans and supporters of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Biafran struggle to ignore.

Leaders of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are expected to meet in Cardiff and sign a joint declaration pushing for the right of their nations to pursue independence and determine their own constitutional future.

In other words, the same United Kingdom that has remained united for centuries is now facing renewed pressure from within.
And this is where many people are remembering something Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said years ago.

Kanu had warned that Britain would one day disintegrate, with Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland going their separate ways. He linked that prediction to Britain’s historical role in the Biafran struggle and its relationship with Nigeria.

At the time, many people dismissed such statements.
Today, seeing the three nations increasingly demanding greater self-determination, some of his supporters are asking a very simple question:

Was Mazi Nnamdi Kanu seeing something that others refused to see?

For Biafrans, Britain’s role in the Nigerian-Biafran conflict remains a deeply painful part of history. Many believe Britain played a major role in supporting the Nigerian state during the war and in maintaining the political structure that eventually kept Biafra within Nigeria.

And even in Kanu’s own case, Britain has faced criticism from his supporters over its response to the detention of a man who holds British citizenship.

The British government says it has raised his case and provided consular assistance. But Kanu’s supporters argue that Britain could have done far more.

So now, as Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland push harder for the right to determine their own future, the irony is difficult to miss.

A man who spent years demanding self-determination for Biafra once warned that Britain itself would eventually face the same question.

Whether one calls it prophecy, political foresight or simply a prediction, the conversation has returned.

And perhaps the biggest question is this:

If the people of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are allowed to demand the right to decide their own future, why should the demand for self-determination by Biafrans be treated as an entirely different kind of question?
History has a strange way of returning to the headlines.

Nigeria has not even entered the heart of the 2027 election season, yet disturbing reports of political v!ol€nce are already beginning to emerge.

The 2027 campaign season has now officially started, while political parties are already moving around communities and mobilising supporters.

But in Agbani, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, a political gathering has reportedly taken an ugly turn.

According to reports circulating online, canopies, chairs and other items prepared for a PDP rally were vandalised at the venue, with suspected political thugs blamed for the incident.

And this should worry every Nigerian.

Because if political activities are only beginning and we are already seeing allegations of destruction, intimidation and v!ol€nce, what should Nigerians expect as the election gets closer?

Must every election in Nigeria become a do-or-die affair?

Must political opponents destroy each other's property simply because they belong to different parties?

Must people be att@cked or, even worse, lose their lives because of politics?

Why is it so difficult for politicians and their supporters to disagree without turning against one another?

An election is supposed to be about choosing leaders. It should be about ideas, policies, development and convincing voters to support your candidate.

It should never be a battle where people are afraid for their lives.

Nigeria has seen too many elections accompanied by v!ol€nce, bloodshed, destruction and fear.

Are we really going to repeat the same cycle in 2027?

The election is still months away.

If this is how things are starting, what happens when the real political battle begins?

Political parties must control their supporters, security agencies must take threats seriously, and every Nigerian must understand that no politician is worth dying for.

We need elections where people can campaign, disagree, vote and go home safely.

📌𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝗘𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗶𝗲𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗔𝘀 𝗜𝗣𝗢𝗕 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗢𝗳 𝗗𝗢𝗦 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘇𝗶 𝗡𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗱𝗶 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝘂? — 𝗟𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗣𝗢𝗕 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝗸

A growing question is being raised by some Biafrans and supporters of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu: If Chika Edoziem is no longer the Head of Directorate of State of IPOB, why does he continue to present himself in that position?

The question has become even louder following the recent opening of an office in Catalonia, Spain, where Chika Edoziem and his associates were involved in the launch.

This has left many people asking:

Is Chika Edoziem now leading another Biafra or IPOB group, or does he still believe he is leading the IPOB headed by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu?

According to the position being expressed by his critics, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu removed him from the position and another person was appointed and has already taken up the role.

If that is the case, why continue to parade the old position?

And perhaps the biggest issue is what happened after Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was taken into custody.

IPOB needed strong leadership, unity and decisive action. Instead, the organisation became divided, with different camps emerging and disagreements becoming more visible.

There were also serious disagreements with Simon Ekpa under him, rather than the different sides working together toward a common objective.

Now, after being removed from the position, Chika Edoziem and co are using platforms associated with the Biafra struggle, including Radio Biafra, to attack or criticise the same Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who originally built the platform.

But what exactly is the end goal?

If you disagree with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, why not build your own organisation and clearly tell people what you stand for?

If you believe you still have the authority to lead IPOB, where does that authority come from?

And if you believe your support base is strong enough, why not demonstrate that strength openly rather than remaining in a prolonged leadership dispute?

For many supporters, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's biggest strength has always been the loyalty and emotional connection he has built with people who believe in his cause. Wherever he appears, his supporters often turn out in large numbers.

So the question is not simply about a title.

Who actually has the confidence of the people? Who can unite the movement? And who is bringing something new and meaningful to the table?

Leadership is not just about claiming a position. It is about bringing people together, providing direction and earning the confidence of those you lead.

The question now is:
Who is actually leading IPOB, and what exactly is Chika Edoziem trying to achieve now?🤔

Imagine being a young girl and growing up believing that your father is the one person who should protect you, only to allegedly discover that he has become the person causing you the deepest pain.

That is the heartbreaking story of a 19-year-old girl in Lagos who has accused her 43-year-old father of s€xu4lly abusing her for about seven years.

According to her account, the abuse allegedly started in 2019 when she was just 12 years old and continued until September 6, 2026.

She said her father forced himself on her and threatened to beat her if she told anyone. She also alleged that the abuse happened once or twice a month and that he sometimes gave her gifts.

Think about that for a moment.

A child who should have been protected in her own home was allegedly living with fear for years.

She eventually told someone close to her about what was happening, and the matter was reported.

The father, identified as 43-year-old Uche Didie, was arrested by OPC members and handed over to the police. He was later transferred to the Gender Unit, where investigations are ongoing.

But there is another heartbreaking part of the story.

Despite everything she has alleged, the 19-year-old says she does not want her father jailed. She simply wants to leave her parents' home and stay with her grandmother or aunt.

And that raises some painful questions.

What does a child go through for seven years before finally finding the courage to speak?

How does a young girl deal with such trauma when the person who is supposed to protect her is allegedly the one hurting her?

And why would a father allegedly do this to his own daughter?

No child should ever have to experience this kind of abuse, especially from someone they should be able to trust completely.

The investigation will determine exactly what happened, but whatever the outcome, the most important thing is that this young woman and anyone else facing abuse gets the protection and support they need.

A disturbing video circulating online has left many people shocked after a man described as a native doctor was reportedly found d€4d with his head inside a mortar.

The circumstances surrounding his d€4th remain unclear, and nobody appears to have a definite explanation for what happened.

Was he working on something when tr@gedy struck?

Was there an accident?

Or could the traditional preparation he was reportedly involved in have somehow gone wrong?

Some people are already asking a rather frightening question: Could the charm he was preparing have backfired on him?

Others believe there may be a completely natural explanation that has nothing to do with anything supernatural.

For now, what actually caused his d€4th remains unknown.

Until the circumstances are properly established, the questions will continue:

A 50-year-old woman has been arrested in Kaduna State after soldiers reportedly found 300 rounds of ammunition hidden inside a bag she was allegedly carrying to t€rror!sts operating around Birnin Gwari.

The arrest was made in Igabi during military operations targeting t€rror!st networks in the state.

According to the information released by the military, the soldiers also arrested a suspected terrorist leader and two associates in Kubau Local Government Area.

In another operation around Birnin Gwari, soldiers working with local vigilantes arrested a man suspected of supplying logistics to t€rror!sts and recovered four communication devices.

All the suspects are now in military custody as investigations continue.

But the case of the 50-year-old woman is particularly disturbing.

Think about it.

300 rounds of ammunition.

A woman allegedly moving that quantity of ammunition through communities where innocent Nigerians are already living under the fear of t€rror!st att@cks.

Where was the ammunition coming from?

Who was expecting it?

Who was funding the operation?

And how many more people are involved in supplying weapons, ammunition, communication equipment and other logistics to these terrorist groups?

The military is making arrests, recovering w€4pons and disrupting their supply lines, and that effort deserves recognition.

But Nigerians are still asking the bigger question:

Why is it still so difficult to completely defeat these t€rror!sts and make Nigerians safe?

How long will communities continue to suffer attacks while terrorist groups keep finding ways to obtain w€4pons, ammunition and supplies?

If other countries facing similar threats can mobilise their security forces and bring such groups under control, why has Nigeria continued to struggle with terrorism for so many years?

What exactly is missing?

Is it intelligence?
Is it equipment?
Is it funding?
Is it coordination?
Or is there something deeper that Nigerians are not being told?

Because arresting people carrying ammunition is good, but Nigerians ultimately want to know when these terrorist networks will be dismantled to the point where ordinary people can live without fear.

Imagine living in a city where businesses depend on electricity to survive, industries need power to operate and families have already gotten used to relatively steady supply — only for everything to suddenly go dark because there is not enough gas to power the plant generating the electricity.

That is the frustrating situation facing parts of Aba.

Aba Power has explained that the latest disruption was caused by a reduction in gas supply to the Geometric Power plant, forcing the plant to temporarily stop generating electricity. The company said it was working on alternative supply through NDPHC while the gas issue was being addressed.

And this is where the situation becomes painful.

Nigeria has enormous natural-gas resources. Abia itself has documented natural-gas deposits, while neighbouring Imo is also a significant gas-producing area. Yet a major industrial city like Aba can still be thrown into darkness because a power plant cannot get enough gas.

For the traders, manufacturers, artisans and business owners in Aba, this is not just about a bulb going off.

It means generators.
It means diesel.
It means higher production costs.
It means machines sitting idle.
It means businesses losing money.

And ultimately, ordinary Nigerians pay the price.

The good thing is that Governor Alex Otti's administration has recognised that reliable power is critical to Aba's industrial future. The governor has been working with Geometric Power and other stakeholders, and he has specifically demanded multiple gas sources and backup arrangements to prevent another prolonged blackout.

The Abia Government has also been working on expanding electricity infrastructure, while the state has established its own electricity regulatory authority.

So there is something to applaud.

But this is not the time to relax.

If Aba is truly going to become the industrial powerhouse everyone talks about, electricity cannot depend on whether gas happens to be available today.

The bigger question is:

How do we make sure Aba never has to go through this kind of blackout again?

Governor Otti and every relevant federal agency need to keep pushing until the gas supply problem, generation capacity and backup arrangements are permanently sorted out.

Because what is the point of having industries, entrepreneurs and natural resources if the power to keep the economy running is still not guaranteed?

Aba deserves dependable electricity. The South-East deserves reliable infrastructure. And Nigeria deserves to make proper use of the resources God has given this country.

What started as a normal moment of support in the delivery room reportedly turned into a painful lesson the husband may never forget.

According to the story, the woman was in labour when she suddenly asked her husband to bring his ear closer because she wanted to tell him something.

The man, probably thinking his wife had an important message for him, quickly moved closer and positioned his ear near her mouth.

Big mistake. 😂

Instead of whispering anything, the woman grabbed his ear with her teeth and bit him hard.

The man reportedly cried out in pain while nurses had to intervene and calm the situation down.

When he finally managed to ask his wife why she had bitten him like that, her response was enough to leave everybody wondering whether she had been keeping score throughout the pregnancy.

She basically reminded him that the enjoyment that led to the pregnancy was not a one-person affair — so she felt the labour pain should also have a small representative from the husband’s side. 😂😂

At that point, the man probably understood that childbirth is truly a “we are in this together” experience.

Ladies, labour pain is serious, but please… let the husband's ears survive the delivery too. 😂

And men, when your wife in labour says, “Come closer, I want to tell you something,” maybe ask yourself one important question first:

“Is this really a message, or am I walking into a trap?” 😭😂
