Nobody talks about how hard it is being a young, unmarried woman trying to build something for herself while constantly dealing with societal pressure.
You’re trying to make money, build your career, grow your business, become independent and create a life you’ll be proud of…
But somehow, people are more interested in asking, “When are you getting married?”
Nobody sees the sleepless nights, the pressure, the self-doubt, the times you feel like you’re not doing enough, or the countless times you have to start all over again.
As a young woman, you’re expected to have your life figured out, be successful, look good, make money, get married and have children—all at the “right” time.
But what if my journey doesn’t look like yours?
What if right now, I’m choosing to build myself before building a home?
I may not have everything figured out yet, but I’m trying. And honestly, I think that should be enough.
To every young woman out there trying to build a life for herself: take your time. You are not behind. ❤️
