𝐃𝐫. 𝐔𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐠𝐚𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐍𝐝𝐮𝐤𝐰𝐨 𝐎𝐧𝐮𝐨𝐡𝐚 𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩

Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Bishop Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha of the Methodist Church Nigeria on his well-deserved elevation to the rank of Archbishop.

In a goodwill message made available to the press, Dr. Ogah described Archbishop Onuoha as a rare breed of clergyman whose life of service, humility, and dedication to God’s work has continued to inspire countless people across Nigeria and beyond.

He commended the Methodist Church Nigeria for recognizing Bishop Onuoha’s tireless spiritual leadership, community development initiatives, and commitment to peace-building, noting that his promotion was not only the result of his deep faith but also a recognition of his impactful service to humanity.

“Archbishop Onuoha’s elevation is a divine endorsement of his decades of unwavering devotion to God’s work and the well-being of mankind,” Dr. Ogah stated. “He has consistently used the pulpit and his influence to preach peace, unity, and moral uprightness, while also touching lives through various humanitarian interventions.”

Dr. Ogah prayed for God’s wisdom, grace, and strength upon the newly elevated Archbishop, urging him to continue to be a beacon of light in the church and society at large.

The Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, extends warm congratulations to Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha on the occasion of his Priesthood Ordination and elevation to the esteemed rank of Archbishop of the Methodist Church Nigeria. This significant milestone, conferred by the Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Dr. Oliver Ali Aba, at the Hoares Memorial Cathedral, is a testament to Archbishop Onuoha's dedication and commitment to the service of the Almighty God and humanity.

Governor Otti commends the newly minted Archbishop for his exemplary service and also notes that his appointment is a source of pride for Abia State. ‎*OAP Johnson Ikechukwu Raises Alarm Over Illegal Use of Tinted Glass, Urges Security Agencies to Act

‎Renowned on-air personality and social activist, Johnson Ikechukwu, popularly known as Honourable JI, has expressed deep concern over the rampant and illegal use of tinted glass by motorists across the country, describing it as a growing security threat.
‎
‎Speaking during a live radio program on Vision Africa 104.1 FM in Umuahia, Honourable JI condemned what he termed the "abuse of tinted glass permits" and called on security agencies, especially the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Services (DSS), to take urgent steps to investigate and regulate the issuance of such permits.
‎
‎According to him, "Tinted glass has become a tool for hiding criminal activities. Many of the people using these cars are not government officials or authorized personnel. They hide behind tinted windows to transport weapons, drugs, and even kidnap victims. This is not just wrong, it is dangerous."
‎
‎The OAP stressed that while there are legitimate reasons for requesting tinted glass permits—such as security for high-profile individuals—the process has been hijacked and turned into a free-for-all, often facilitated by corrupt insiders.
‎
‎He further urged the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO), and other relevant authorities to step up enforcement and carry out routine checks, especially on private vehicles whose owners cannot justify their use of tinted windows.
‎
‎"This is not about showing power or harassing innocent people," he added, "it's about protecting Nigerians from criminals who hide in plain sight."
‎
‎Many listeners who called into the program shared similar sentiments, with some recounting personal experiences of being trailed or harassed by occupants of tinted vehicles with no number plates.

VISION AFRICA RADIO

Through Vision Africa Radio (Love – 104.1 FM) we share God’s Love. Vision Africa planned, constructed, developed and launched Vision Africa Radio, Love 104.1, in order to bring the message of hope, healing, reconciliation and education to the people of Southeastern Nigeria. Many homes may not have television or daily newspapers, but they have radios. Vision Africa Radio has been working to educate minds (especially young minds) in areas such as HIV/AIDS and malaria awareness, prevention and treatment, family values, and importance of education, as well as an emphasis on democracy, respect for others and social order. Small, solar-powered radios are being distributed to thousands of individuals to enable people to listen to Vision Africa Radio. Through the radio, young people have received media training and young talents have been encouraged to develop and air their talents. Vision Africa Radio is training college students through the radio as a channel for practical experiences. Vision Africa is raising a new generation that will bring hope to the continent of Africa. In 2013, in the 4th Annual Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards, our radio station in Umuahia Nigeria, Love 104.1 FM, was named Station of the Year in Southeast Nigeria.
