Sometimes when things happen to us, the Holyghost uses them to teach us important lessons,
God thought me something really profound few days ago and this was what happened,
So few days ago our toilet brush broke off from the handle inside the toilet when i was washing it, i took different measures to get it out, i even had to pull off my nails, just to get it out but instead the brush kept dancing inside there 😂
I reached out to hubby who was still at work and he asked me not to flush ohh so it doesn’t block the toilet, i tried so many other things, no way!!
So we resulted to calling the plumber, when he came i explained everything that happened and before i could say jack he flushed the toilet, you needed to hear how i screamed, he said “ahhh i wasn’t supposed to flush? Oga became confused 🤔
Me i was like “ohh you didn’t even know you were not supposed to flush” God abeg!!! Like he didn’t even know that flushing could block the toilet,
He said he would check if it’s blocked and if it is he would have to remove the toilet sit and take it out or so, Oga that’s you doing more harm than good nau😳 you just worsened the situation na,because this if your job and you should know better nau,
But then to confirm, he wore gloves and checked where i told him the brush was and he said it was no longer there that flushing it had probably flushed the brush down the pipe,
After checking and checking, flushing and flushing he said it was flushed down but if anything changes and we notice it wasn’t flushing well we should let him know,
When my husband came back and i gisted him he was surprised too, he asked if we packed tissues and flushed, I told him no, I had to go and do that but it flushed well, we just decided to watch and see,few days later and nothing changed and that was how a mistake from the plumber solved the actual problem,
Few days after that incident God taught me this, Sometimes we pray about things and we expect the answers to happen a certain way, and when they don’t happen the exact way we want we think God didn’t answer them, it taught me that God answers prayers but sometimes not in the way we want them,
When we pray whether we see the visible answers or not just know that God answers and he would show up in the way you least expect, just hold on to him and don’t let your faith fail you,don’t bother about how he is going to answer but be rest assured that he definitely would.
This encouraged me alot and i hope it does same to someone out there too.
