Dear Amaimo Sons and Daughters, today, marks another significant step in the collective journey of Amaimo Umukabia Autonomous Community towards greater development and progress. Delegates of our community, ably led by our royal father, His Royal Highness Eze Friday J. Uzoeshi, Nnayere Eze I of Amaimo Umukabia, together with our President General, DSP Oliver Ndukwe (Rtd) and Chief Darlington Ezuka, paid very important courtesy visits to the Member representing Ehime Mbano in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ozoemena, and the Commissioner for Works, Imo State.

The purpose of these visits was to further strengthen our relationship with key government officials and to continue advocating for the needs, welfare, and development of Amaimo Umukabia. As a people, we remain committed to pursuing every legitimate avenue that will bring improvement to our land and open new doors of opportunity for our sons and daughters.

The visits made today mark the completion of the first phase of the visits as planned by the Amaimo Infrastructural Developers Board. However, these visits will not stop us from going ahead with our various self-developmental plans for Amaimo. Rather, they serve as part of our broader commitment to ensuring both external support and internal efforts work together for the progress of our community.

We are hopeful that these visits will yield tremendous fruits and translate into meaningful gains for our community. We pray that the goodwill generated today will, by the grace of God, result in visible and lasting development for Amaimo Umukabia.

We sincerely thank all those who made these visits possible, especially the members of the Amaimo Infrastructural Development Board, for their commitment, sacrifice, and sense of responsibility toward the progress of our community. Their effort, unity of purpose, and dedication are deeply appreciated and remain a source of pride and encouragement to us all.

Long live Amaimo Umukabia!
Long live Ehime Mbano!!
Long live Imo State, Nigeria!!!

Dear Amaimo Sons and Daughters, today, delegates of Amaimo Umukabia Autonomous Community, ably led by our Eze, His Royal Highness Eze Friday J. Uzoeshi - Nnayere Eze 1 of Amaimo Umukabia, alongside our PG - DSP Oliver Ndukwe (Rtd), paid a very important courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Cosmas Iwu, and through him to His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, Governor of Imo State.

During the visit, the delegation presented in a clear, respectful, and thoughtful manner the major challenges facing Amaimo Umukabia Community. These include the road project, the upgrading of our schools, the electricity project, the health centre, and the market. These are critical areas of need that directly affect the daily lives, welfare, and development of our people.

The SSGI was deeply pleased with the visit, the gifts presented by the community, and the beautifully written address delivered by Chief Darlington Ezuka. In fact, he was so appreciative of the visit and the address that he remarked that it was “the best address he has ever received since being in the Cabinet Office.” This warm and remarkable commendation speaks volumes about the quality, thoughtfulness, and maturity with which our community presented its case. He warmly received the delegates, gave them a listening ear, and assured them that the ongoing road project will be extended to Eke-Umuodu. He also promised to do more for Amaimo Umukabia, a pledge that gives our people renewed hope and encouragement.

This visit was not only timely but also fruitful, as it gave our community another valuable opportunity to present our needs to the government through the proper channel. It equally reflects the unity, maturity, foresight, and proactive spirit of Amaimo Umukabia in pursuing the common good and development of all.

We sincerely appreciate Chief Darlington Ezuka for coordinating the visit and helping to make it a success. We equally thank Commandant Desmond Agu (Rtd), who was also present at the visit but, due to other engagements, could not stay until the presentation of the address and the gifts. His presence and support are also deeply appreciated. We thank in special way members of Amaimo Infrastructural Development Board for their generous donations that funded most part of the budget for the courtesy visit.

We further thank all those who sacrificed their time and energy to represent our community so well. Their commitment, dedication, and sense of responsibility are deeply valued and appreciated.

May God bless and reward them all abundantly, and may this noble effort yield lasting fruits for the progress, peace, and development of Amaimo Umukabia Autonomous Community.

Long live Amaimo Umukabia!
Long live Ehime Mbano!!
Long live Imo State, Nigeria!!!

How can students learn effectively in this kind of classroom environment?

This school was built through the sacrifices of our community and later handed over to the Imo State Government, under the Ministry of Education, with the belief and trust that it would be properly maintained and improved for future generations.

Sadly, that trust is now being neglected.

The current condition of the school is not suitable for learning. Our children deserve a safe, functional, and inspiring environment where they can receive quality education.

We are respectfully calling on the Imo State Government and the Ministry of Education to take urgent action:

* A complete renovation of the secondary school facilities
* Provision of qualified teachers to ensure proper learning

Education is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Our children’s future should not be compromised due to neglect.

We urge the authorities to act now and restore this school to a standard worthy of the community that built it.

URGENT ATTENTION NEEDED: AMAIMO UMUKABIA ROAD

This is the current state of all access roads leading to Amaimo Umukabia, especially during the peak of the rainy season. These are the conditions our people have endured since the existence of our community.

In this 21st century, Amaimo Umukabia still has no good road network connecting us to neighboring communities or to major routes leading to Okigwe. We also lack basic infrastructure such as electricity and telecommunication networks.

Our community is richly blessed with agricultural potential. We have vast farmlands suitable for cultivation, along with abundant palm trees, various fruits, local stones, and sand. However, despite these natural resources, our people continue to live in poverty. Farmers are losing hope because poor road conditions prevent buyers from accessing our community, making it difficult to sell farm produce.

We are therefore calling on the Imo State Government, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma, and the Ministry of Works, to urgently intervene. We humbly request that the ongoing road construction from Umuezela in Umukabia Ancient Kingdom be extended to Amaimo Umukabia.

We will be deeply grateful if this appeal is given urgent attention and action.

Thank you.
