Man United are not in the race for Donnarumma's signature despite the recent transfer speculation.
Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is set to leave the club after being replaced as first-choice by new signing Lucas Chevalier from Lille. Chevalier is expected to start in the UEFA Super Cup against Tottenham Hotspur, with Donnarumma left out of PSG’s squad.
The Italian international confirmed his departure on Instagram, stating that “someone has decided” he has no future at the Parc des Princes. With the summer transfer window nearing its end, Donnarumma is seeking a new club, and several Premier League teams have been linked with him.
However, journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Manchester United are not in the race for his signature despite speculation. Instead, the Red Devils are considering signing a young goalkeeper if they make a move in that position. Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens has been identified as a potential option, though United do not see a new goalkeeper as a current transfer priority.
