Today is World Health Day and the 75th anniversary of the World Health Organization (WHO)!

As the global directing and coordinating authority on international health work, the WHO plays a major role in promoting public health and tackling humanitarian crises. For 75 years, the WHO has brought member states together to improve access to healthcare for all and prepare for infectious disease outbreaks.

As a small state, Singapore actively participates in the WHO and works with it to promote public health. Last year, the Ministry of Health, Singapore launched a major healthcare system reform, Healthier SG, to help all Singaporeans take steps towards better health. This is in line with the WHO’s vision of “Health for All”.

We also strongly support the role of the WHO in pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response. Singapore is proud to contribute our technical expertise in WHO expert groups, and will continue to support the WHO’s good work.

Singapore is committed to building up our healthcare system, and investing in better health and quality of life for everyone. We congratulate and celebrate with the WHO on this significant milestone. – LHL

Da yiwuwar alhazan Nijeriya su biya Naira miliyan 3.3 kuɗin Hajjin bana

In dai ba wani canji aka samu ba, a gobe Juma'a ne a ke sa ran Hukumar Alhazai ta Ƙasa, NAHCON, za ta sanar da tabbataccen kuɗin aikin Hajjin bana.

Wata majiya mai karfi a NAHCON ta shaidawa Hajj Reporters cewa hukumar na shiri na karshe wajen sanar da kudin aikin Hajjin na bana.

Sai dai kuma nahiyar ta tabbatarwa Hajj Reporters cewa in dai ba wani canji na gaggawa aka samu ba, farashin aiki km Hajjin bana zai kai Naira miliyan 3.3.

Ma'ajiyar ta ce tsadar kayayyaki da haihuwar farashi na ayyuka a Saudiya ne ya haifar da rashin farashin aikin Hajjin.

Maniyar ta kara da cewa, " a bara, kuɗin k**a masauki da Riyal 2000 ne amma ana kuɗin ya nuna sau biyu.

"a halin yanzu haka ma wasu jihohi ma Nijeriya na fama da wahalar samun masaukai a kusa da masallacin harami," in ji majiyoyin.
