YEAR OF THE SPIRIT
TUESDAY APRIL 1ST 2025
TOPIC: LIVING A BEAUTIFUL LIFE
TEXT: ISAIAH 61:3

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified”

Life is a beautiful thing when it serves it’s purpose: it is the plan of God from creation for man to have a beautiful life on earth.

Everything that God created was perfectly good, before man arrived on earth by God. Genesis 1:24-27.

The beautiful life God planed for man was cut short because of Adam’s disobedience.

Instead of beautiful life, man was clothed with ashes, spirit of heaviness, and mourning, and was imprisoned under the oppressive bo***ge of the devil.

But now, God has given man another chance of living a beautiful life again on earth.

God’s plan for the chance of man living beautiful life on earth was achieved, by the death of Jesus Christ on cross, His resurrection from the dead, and His ascension into heaven.

Men now live a beautiful life on earth, by preaching the good news of man’s beautiful life on earth through Jesus Christ. Romans 10:15.

Witnessing Jesus Christ to the unsaved is the guarantee of your beautiful life on earth.

God has made you His righteousness, for His glory on earth is Christ, let God be glorified through you by making the sacrifice of Jesus Christ count for the unsaved.

Preach the goodnews!

PRAYER: Dear father, I thank you for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ which have given me beauty for ashes, oil of joy for mourning, and garment of praise for spirit of heaviness and have made me your righteousness, in Jesus’ Name AMEN.

TOPIC: TREES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
TEXT: ISAIAH 61:3

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified”

Jesus is made unto us by God righteousness, and He said that we are His branches.
1 Corinthians 1:30; John 15:5.

Jesus said that every tree is known by its fruits.
Matthew 7:19-20.

So, we as the branches of the tree of righteousness, should produce fruits of righteousness as the branch of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said, in John 15:16, that He has chosen us, and ordained us that we should bear fruits, that God might be glorified.

The fruit of righteousness expected that we should bear that God will be glorified, are

(1) Fruit of love:
We are admonished to love one another, as the children of God: 1 John 3:10.

(2) Fruit of soul winning:
Daniel 12:3.

(3) Fruit of generosity:
Matthew 5:16.

Love is the fulfillment of the law, and whosoever, that loves is righteous even as Jesus Christ is our righteousness.
John 15:13; 1 John 3:7.

So, continue living for the glory of God, as the light that shines in darkness.

PRAYER: Dear father, I thank you for my cleansing through your word, to live the life of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name Amen.

TOPIC:1 JESUS BRETHREN
TEXT: ISAIAH 8:18

“Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion”

Jesus Christ is a sign and a wonder in Israel, that when He was brought into the temple to be dedicated, Simeon told His mother that Jesus Christ, is a sign which shall be spoken off, and He is for the raising and falling of many in Israel, and that He is a light that will lighten the Gentiles.
Luke 2:32-34.

The brethren of Jesus Christ are wonders of light, that enlightens men out of the bo***ge of darkness of this world. Matthew 5:14.

Jesus was not ashamed to call those who believed in Him His brethren. Hebrews 2:11.

Because of this, God brought us unto Himself in Christ, for our conformity into the image of Jesus Christ. Romans 8:29.

As Christ brethren the works that Jesus Christ did, you shall do also. John 14:12.

Jesus Christ while on earth did the work of the salvation of man, and gave His life as a ransom for it.

Now as His brethren, He has commissioned us to be witnesses of man’s salvation through Him in all the nations of the world. Luke 24:46-48.

Don’t be ashamed of Jesus Christ, and tell the world about His sacrifice for their salvation.

PRAYER: Dear father, I thank you for saving me in Christ, and making me His brethren and joint heir with Him, in Jesus’ Name Amen.

THURSDAY OCT 3RD
TOPIC: DON’T BE SURPRISED
TEXT: 1 PETER 4:4

“They marvel that you no longer rush to join them in the excesses of their corrupt lifestyle, and so they vilify you”(TPT).

New creation in Christ Jesus is not a confession, nor is it a slogan, it is a life.

It is one turning his back to the ways and systems of the world, what this means is that devil has lost you.

What?

Do you expect him to keep quiet, no devil must fight back to win you over to himself again.

All the defamatory things your friends, and even your family members says against you, because of your new found life in Christ, is devil’s reaction to persuade your returning back to him.

Don’t be disturbed by what they’re saying against you, or their treatment towards you.

Blindness is working against them, which you were before when you take delight in those things they do now, and wonder that you left them.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4;
Ephesians 4:17-18.

Don’t hate them or answer back to them, because that is what the devil will want you to do.

Rather, pray unto God for their salvation, and use every opportunity you have with them to witness Jesus unto them.

Rejoice for suffering reproach because of Jesus Christ, which bring God’s glory upon you.

PRAYER: Dear father, I thank you for the life of glory you give to me in Christ, in Jesus’ Name Amen.
