Welcome to my first Monday Motivation of 2025! Today, I want to share some common mistakes you should avoid this year.

Life is short, and youth is fleeting. The choices you make today will shape your future, and the mistakes you make now can turn into regrets in the years ahead.

Regret is painful, but the good news is that you can take control of your choices right now.

Every moment is precious, and time waits for no one. Live with urgency and purpose! Here are five mistakes you must avoid this year and beyond:

1. WAITING FOR THE PERFECT TIME
There is no such thing as the "perfect" time to start. Many people hold back due to fear, fear of failure, rejection, or uncertainty.

The truth is, the best time to take action is now. Growth happens outside your comfort zone, so stop waiting and start doing!

2. WAITING TO BE CHOSEN
In today’s world, opportunities are everywhere, and you don’t need anyone’s permission to chase your dreams. Instead of waiting for someone to recognize you, take initiative:
- Start that project.
- Share your ideas.
- Publish your work.
Stop waiting to be picked—pick yourself!

3. LIVING SOMEONE ELSE’S DREAM
One of life’s greatest challenges is discovering who you truly are. The second is embracing it. Staying true to your own dreams and goals is a game-changer.

No matter how busy you are, make time for what matters to you. You don’t need validation to follow your passion. You have the power to shape your own future.

4. FAILING TO TRY
The fear of failure keeps many people stuck. But the only real failure is never trying at all.

Take small steps toward your goals, any progress is better than none. Even if you fail, you’ll learn and grow. The worst thing you can do is to let fear stop you from even trying.

5. GIVING UP TOO SOON
Every successful person has faced failure, but they kept going. Obstacles are part of the journey. If you feel like giving up, remember:

The breakthrough you seek may be just around the corner. You are stronger than your failures.

Be Motivated. Be Inspired. Persistence is key. Keep pushing forward, and you will find a way.

UNDERSTAND YOUR TIME

"God's timing is the best & always perfect."

Every successful person has their waiting time, so never give up. You need to understand that, your time is not my time, your friend's time is different from your own time, and the time of everyone is different.

Don't forget a school bell that sounds like a disturbance at 8:am and also sounds interesting at 2:pm... is just a matter of time, so don't envy anyone, just rejoice with them and move on.

Don't try to compare yourself to others or blame people for your delay. It may be your time is yet to come.

In your own waiting time you just need to do some little things to keep you on track:
- Prayer is the key to every request. You need to commit your ways & time to God's hands.

- Educate yourself in any way and every way. Get more knowledge & study more, especially in that area of your waiting.

- Determination is also a key to achieving your goals as I wrote recently. Have Determination that you will get there no matter how. Believe me, you will surely get there.

- Focus & never give up. Look for your strength and build on it. "If a rose smells better than tomatoes, It doesn't mean the rose can make a better stew like tomatoes."

- Never look down on yourself, keep looking up to God. Remember that broken crayons still color.

- Keep on pushing, you never can tell how close you are to your goal.

This is your time of Success, believe & take action.

MAGIC WORDS

Let me welcome you to the new month of June once again with .

Sometimes ago, I watched Carton with My Children and I came across the topic "magic words." When I did more study about magic words, I discovered it's not for children alone, but for everyone who wants to succeed in life.

Many people can't get jobs or maintain a job because they don't know how to use magic words. Some relationships collapse because of a lack of magic words, and many more.

The magic word shows our sense of responsibility and tells even strangers that we are well-behaved and groomed. It also gives people around us some level of positive confidence and trust.

Today I have four magic words that everyone needs to know and use:

1) PLEASE:
Nobody wants to be around rude people and in life, approach matters. The word “please” can get you help when you need it.

Also, adding please to a sentence will change how it sounds to the person on the receiving end. It changes demand to a request.

Learn to ask and make your request nicely.

2) THANK YOU:
Learning to say thank you for every good deed will help you grow into an independent level with less sense of entitlement. It’s a show of gratitude and honour.

Acknowledging people’s efforts and telling them you do not take them for granted. When you say thank you, people are excited to do more.

3) SORRY:
You need to learn to take responsibility and say sorry when you offend someone else. Rendering an apology by saying sorry brings forgiveness, healing, and peace into any situation. Saying sorry doesn’t make you weak, rather, it’s a display of strength and a good sense of responsibility.

4) EXCUSE ME:
Excuse me it can be used in different ways. To take permission to interrupt, leave a place, or politely ask someone to leave the way for you to pass.

As a staff, entrepreneur, or student you need to learn not to interrupt when people are talking (especially your boss, customers, or your teacher) and if you must, you need to get permission before proceeding to say what you intend to discuss.
