Today is Ash Wednesday.

The significants of Ash Wednesday/ the mark of the ashes.

1. Is a make of self denial to serve your God.
This is a sign to suffer your both especially the flash that miss lead human against God wat.

2. Is a mark of fasting: just like what happened in the Nineveh when the prophet of God pronounced the wrath of God against the people, to please God and bring the wrath of God from fall down on the people, the king of Nineveh declared fasting and praying, according to bible he(the king) himself removed his Nobel or royal cloth and wore a sack cloth and began to rub himself on the ashes, the pleased God. Therefore, the ashes marks the beginning of the Christian period of fasting and reconciliation with God for having go astray.

3. It is reminder of who you are:
The ashes on the forehead reminds the bearers and the people that see it that all human being are made from dust unto dust we shall return. Giving man a lesson of no need to be pompous in life, no need to Bragg in life, this brought some people to normal sense and good life after a season like this.

4. It mark the beginning of lent which is the time
Christian test the passion of Jesus on earth.

Inclusion, follow up to the lents this year it has a positive change in every believers life. And try to take the ashes on your forehead as a sign of the beginning of the fasting, as a mark of reminding so many people, including yourself whom you are.

Greetings all fellow believers in Christ Jesus.
The trending news that said the Holy father pope Francis approved same s*x marriage for now has a fake in take; let’s work on these 4cardinal verification. points:
1: the church in Africa has not received the Encyclical of the pope via the new trending
2: there this no catholic channels that has televised the speech from the pope.
3: we have at least 50s cardinals in Rome representing the church in Africa and non has brought such news for us.
4: No priest of the church in Africa has spoken in favour or against this trending news.
We are still verifying the fact and we shall get back to you.

THE MOTHER CHURCH IS WISE AND IS LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT:
FR MBAKA WAS NOT REMOVED OR REPLACED.

Dear people of God, please, let's set the records straight. Fr Mbaka was not removed or replaced with Fr Anthony. He (Fr Mbaka) was the one who pleaded with his bishop, Bishop Onaga to allow him go to the monastery for a personal retreat. He also pleaded with the bishop to allow Fr Anthony hold brief for him while on retreat and his bishop obliged him.

For goodness sake, Fr Mbaka does not have problem with his bishop or the Roman Catholic Church and his bishop too doesn't have any problem with him. People should stop talking what they don't know. Fr Mbaka is like a son to Bishop Onaga and that is how they relate.
Fr Mbaka is a great man of God and God has used him mightily to touch the lives of many. He is a blessing to the church. As a human, he may not be perfect. Then it is incumbent on his Ordinary, Bishop Onaga to give his paternal correction to him. So, the bishop has never done anything wrong to Fr Mbaka, people should stop insulting him. Any insult on the bishop is an insult on the mother church. It could be a sin against the Holy Spirit who is represented in Enugu Diocese in the person of Bishop Onaga.
Similarly, people should stop insulting Fr Mbaka, allow his bishop to correct him if you think he has erred. The Catholic Church is Holy and has a way of handling her Priests. It is really very sad that a lay person will wake up and begin to rain insults on a priest or bishop. How did we get to this level?
For your information, Fr Mbaka is not a disobedient Priest, like many people are painting him. He is endowed with great anointing and God is using him mightily. And Bishop Onaga is not envious of him as some people are speculating. Infact, he can't envy Fr Mbaka for any reason. People should stop talking nonsense.
Let me also state it here that Bishop Onaga has the right to transfer Fr Mbaka if a pastoral need for that arises. Pls, stop spreading falsehood.
