The door of the car opened and Tara got in.

"Hey" she called and touched me.

"Why are you crying now? You'll ruin your makeup, remember you still need to go for the interview" she reminded.

"I know but why does he have to show up? Why did he show his self to me? I hate him."

"Come on Ros, you and I know you don't hate him. You've liked him ever since he approached you, maybe you should just forgive him since he is really trying to get to you. Take a look at this, what is this card for?" She said and took up the card then opened it.

"Huh, his daughter's birthday card? He is inviting you to it, are you gonna attend?" She inquired staring into the card.

I collected the card from her and read through it.

"I'm not gonna attend" I replied and threw it aside and she sighed.

"You are killing yourself gradually this way. You hate what you're doing but you're still doing it, if you forgive him it'll be much more better for you to move on. Let's go, you don't listen to me anyways."

Days later.

Two days to Ria's birthday.

🍷Mike's POV 🍷
I sat beside Charlie at the bar. He was with a glass filled with drink but he wasn't drinking it. He was rather in deep thoughts.

I sipped from my own glass and continued staring at him. He was lost in thought - out of the world.

I wonder what he is thinking tho it's obvious that it might be about Ros.

This days, he has been stuck up her.

The rumours about the video and all has managed to die down. Everything was returning back to normal, the news about his daughter's birthday is the one circulating the net.

But I no he hasn't been himself tho I expected him to at least cheer up for his daughter.

"Dad! Dad!! Where are you?" Ria's voice echoed all over the house.

"He is over here Ria" I replied her and she ran to him.

He dropped the glass with him and carried her.

"What is it sweetheart?" He asked smiling, a fake smile.

*PAUSE*

"Dad, my friends are asking me if my mom will also show up for my birthday, what should I tell them?" She asked.

"Your friends? When did you start having friends?" Charlie asked back.

"You should no that they are my classmates actually, what should I tell them?" She pouted.

He took his eyes to look at me and I shrugged my shoulder, meaning that he shouldn't look at me. It's not as if I have a solution to that...but wait, don't I have?

"Well, she will, you'll see her" he replied her and she hollered.

"Wow! Thanks Dad" she said and kissed his cheek before coming down from his body.

" I have a lot of things to do, I'll get going" she smiled and ran out from the bar.

He sighed, took up his cup and sipped from it.

"Are you sure she is gonna come? You told me your last encounter with her wasn't encouraging, didn't you?" I asked.

"I can't keep Ria waiting, I might as well find someone else, you can do that for me in case she doesn't. She hates me, I am unsure about her attending" he replied grumpily and stood up, then he left the bar.

I dropped the drink immediately and got up, I need to see her.

👗Rosanna's POV 👗
I received a call from CB's manager asking me to step out of the g*te.

I put on my flip flop and went outside the g*te wondering why he had asked me to come out.

I came out to see a red car parked outside there.

He won down the glass of the car and beckoned on me to get in. I stared into the back sit to be sure CB isn't there.

When I'd confirmed it, I got in.

"Um..is there something wrong? Why do you ask to see me?" I questioned him.

"Can you fasten your sit belt? I need to show you something" he asked and I reluctantly did.

Then he started the car and drove into the streets.

Soon he was on the highway.

"Mike, where are you taking me to?" I asked after the long silence between us.

"Like I said, I need to show you something" he replied simply and continued driving.

The drive took us hours and he continued driving which made me a bit confused and uncomfortable.

Where the hell is he going? I thought but tried relaxing my mind.

Night ia fastls approaching and still he didn't stop, it was as if he was going to the next country.

He continued driving until he got to a bridge. He stopped driving and then came out of the car.

"Come out, we're here" he urged.

"Huh, here? On a bridge?" I shrieked but got down anyways.

He went to a side and stood there. I followed after him and stood beside him.

"What is here to look at Mike? You wanna show me the ocean?" I questioned getting annoyed.

"The following day after the night Charlie forced himself on you. He came here" he started.

"He did? But why?" I found myself asking.

"He came here to commit sucide" he replied.

"To what? C..commit sucide?" I faced him and shrieked.

"Yes" he replied and faced me back.

"He wanted to end the pains he felt, he just wanted to kil-l himself without thinking, he didn't even think of his family, he didn't think of his little daughter, the only person he thought of was you and since he was sure you hated him to the core, he decided to ki-ll himself and end it all" he continued and my mouth fell open.

"That is how much he loved and still loves you. He is even ready to die."

"After he met you that day at the elevator, after that encounter he couldn't get his mind off you, he asked me to search you up and I did. Then, you were still contesting for the foodie chef contest. I won't tell you the amount I had to give them for them to make you the winner, tho you were still gonna emerge the winner, you have all the right tools but still we had to make sure you come out as the winner and luckily you did."

"He continued asking you out but you kept rejecting him. You know better that he didn't mean to do what he did that night, you are the first person he has ever loved, the first lady."

"You are the first lady he has ever forced himself on too. Have you ever wondered? If Charlie was just after your body, after that night wouldn't he have stopped coming to plead with you, but he came to you again yesterday didn't he but you didn't even let him talk."

"That shows that number one, he is deeply in love with you and really wants you. Number two, he is so much regretting what he did."

"Do you know that he is supposed to be releasing an album this month? But its all got cancelled, even his daughter, he is supposed to write a song for her but I'm not sure that, that is even in his mind again. You are just the only person occupying his mind."

"He has always been playful with things, help him know how to grow up, help his daughter know the feeling of having a mom please. If not for him, just do it for the little girl."

"She's lovely and will love you, I bet. So please Rosanna, please help him" he concluded leaving me speechless.

"Are you gonna talk to him after all that?" Tara asked glaring at me.

"I will, come inside" I replied referring to Mike in that last sentence.

I walked to the dinning area and sat and he took a sit across facing me.

"So, what do you want?" I asked sternly.

"I just wanna discuss about the conference I had, I want you to do something for me" he said.

"What is that? You've already covered up everything by lying, what else do you need from me?" I questioned.

"I need you to agree to it, tell your fans, let them know that you are dating CB" he replied and I scoffed.

"For real? You want me to agree to your lies? Did you forget I'm the one that got r***d, really? You lied without even considering..."

"I considered you too, you can log in and take a look at the internet. People knowing that you weren't r***d is better, it'll save you from pittifull looks and all that, getting to know that you're actually in a relationship with CB is better Rosanna, it'll help delete those hurtful images, a lot of people will get to envy you, you'll become wealthier just because of the news. I considered you too and that's the very reason you need to agree to it, you might be called out for interviews, you just have to prove to them that you guys are dating."

"I'll also be releasing pictures of you two to the internet. I'm sorry this has to happen to you but this is the only way to clear things up. You can go back to your normal life in few days knowing that the looks on people's face will different" he explained.

"So, you are not giving me a choice, are you? You planned everything yourself, me saying it's a lie, will it even change anything? I'm sure you'll still find a way to save your face."

"I'm sorry Rosanna, I don't want to do this but if you feel cheated then you can soft things out with Charlie, I'm just doing my job as his manager, he also isn't aware of all this, I planned them myself because they are the only way to end all these quickly" he retorted.

"So I'll be going now, please think about it, think about yourself too, I'm sorry for what Charlie did, take care" he concluded got up and left.

"Are you gonna do it? This wealthy people are so irritating, he doesn't wanna get punished for what he did? He wants to bury it all?" I heard Matthew ask and huff.

"Ros, are you gonna agree to it? It's kind of hard you no but I also think that's the only way to save your face,It's kind of better but he'll have to go unpunished" Tara added and I sighed.

"I'll be in my room, for now* I said to them both, got up and left for my room.

"Come on Tara, Charlie will go unpunished, it's better he gets punished by the law and he'll learn his lessons, the rumour and all these will die down with time, if you ask me I won't agree with the m at all. The situation if favouring them too well. He'll escape prison" I heard Matthew say to Tara as I got into my room.

I sat down on my bed and buried my head in my palm.

I wish to just disappear to where no one knows me. I think that situation will be much better and easier than all these.

🍷Charlie's POV 🍷
I heard a knock on the door of my room after some times.

"Come in" I hushed and the door opened revealing Mike.

"Mike?" I called and stood up on my feet.

"Why did you do that? It's just like betraying her, she'll hate me even more now for lying" I asked and said.

"Charlie that's the only way. If you want to continue with your dreams,if you want your daughter Ria to have a bright future then it's the only way. What do you think will happen when she wants to turn 5 and realizes you aren't there for her but in prison, if it's keeps going on am afraid the cops might come back, so Charlie I did you both a great favour" he cooed and sat down in one of the couches.

"What will she do then? Do you think she'll agree to it?" I inquired.

"Well, you'll have to keep trying to earn her forgiveness so she won't misbehave one day, she doesn't have a choice, she will agree to it" he replied and I proceeded to my bed and sat on it.

"How is Mom and Dad? What are they saying about this?" I asked changing the topic.

"Well, your mom is gonna be coming over here, I forgot to inform you, she wants to make your favorite meal for you, expect her soon" he narrated and got up.

"I'll get going now, I haven't gone home since all these started."

**Few hours later**

I stood behind mom in the kitchen as she cooked.

"Mom, so what do you suggest I do? I can't let her keep staying mad at me" I inquired.

"You really want to earn her forgiveness?" She turned to me and asked.

"Yes" I cooed.

"You really love her?" She asked again.

"Of course mom, I really do, for me to become happy for you again then she'll have to forgive me, since you're a woman then you should no how she feels and no things that can make her forgive me" I said.

"Well, in that situation it'll take time. It'll take time for her to heal as a woman but if you keep apologizing sincerely, don't try bribing her with money or anything since she's the type of lady that is not crazy over material things, once you keep showing her how sincere you are, she'll naturally forgive you. Do you think she has some kind of feelings for you?" She explained and asked.

"Um..that's zero. She doesn't, but why do you ask?" I answered and asked.

"It's weird to no a lady that doesn't like my handsome son, if she has some kind of feelings for you then I bet before next month she'll forgive you once she sees that sincerity, only if she knows how sincere you are about her but since she doesn't then it's fine, it'll take time tho just keep trying."

Two days later.

👗Rosanna's POV 👗
I dressed up real good and picked up my hand bag. Today I'll resume my work. I won't keep on hiding indoors.

It won't do me any good.

I got out to the sitting to see Tara also ready to go.

"Let's go" I coed and started walking out and she followed me from behind.

"Lemme drive" she offered as I was about getting into the driver's side.

I allowed her in and went to the passenger sit and sat down. She started the car and slowly drove out of the house.

The net has been filled with our news, our photos. CB and I.

Every lips talks about us, that am sure of. Not really about the r**e video but because of the fact that we are dating - funny.

They believed what Mike has told them alongside the pictures. Who wouldn't believe? It has been rumoured even before this incident that we might be dating so this is actually like a prove to all that, a prove that it's true.

I even received a text from CB yesterday but didn't bother to open the message. I'm not just ready for him.

I don't want to see him or involve myself with him really.

"Are you sure about this?" Tara's voice broke into my thoughts and I looked at her.

She looked outside and I followed her eyes to see that we have already the company.

"Of course" I replied simply and opened the car door, then stepped out.

Not like I killed someone. I shouldn't be hiding, I did nothing wrong.

She followed after me as we walked into the company. As expected every eyes fell on me. It was as if there was something on my face that they were staring at.

They all just kept saying and mumbling some even approached me but being in no mood for that I ignored all of them and walked into the elevator.

Pressed the floor number that I'm heading too and soon found myself in the shooting room.

I am supposed to model for a new industry in town that produces cream.

"Rosa" I heard Tara whisper to me. I took my eyes to where she was staring at and saw one of the biggest industry manager approaching us.

The woman got to us and stopped. "We have been expecting you to show up Miss. Can we grab a cup of coffee now? I have a proposal for you" she offered staring at me and I staring back at her.

**Four hours later**

"So, are you gonna be doing the interview tomorrow?" Tara asked creaming her body.

"Obviously, I have to, the offer is too big to reject" I replied her.

The woman had asked me to become the brand model for their company, the pay is 30 million Dollars.

But it's comes with the condition that I'll have to clear things up on air tomorrow, that means I'll have to agree to everything Mike had said, then I'll officially become the model. I might end up changing industry.

So, I agreed to it. I wouldn't dare reject such offer. With that amount of money, I'll be ranking one of the richest models.

That's a life time opportunity and I'll do it.

📱So, she went to work today?

📲 Yes Charlie, she came to work and I heard that she is gonna be having an interview tomorrow. I bet she is going to confirm my statement. She has to.

📱Okay, thanks for letting me no, i think I'll be approaching her tomorrow.

📲Okay, but be careful,still taking care of things here at the company.

I dropped the call and sighed. Tomorrow I'll make sure to see her, since she went to work today, it's only means she's ready to get back to her normal life but why isn't she replying my message.

Is she still that mad? I thought sadly and sighed.

I hopes she gives me a listening ear tomorrow tho.

I woke up early and prepared for the interview. I don't no but I am kind of really nervous about the whole thing.

Imagine facing the cameras and lying to the whole world about myself, something I had to suffer for.

But It's fine since it'll help me move on and forget it ever happened.

I applied little makeup and put my hair and every other thing in order.

I carried my clutch and walked out into the living room to see Matthew and Tara. They were both gonna be following me there in case of crazy fans or reporters.

"Are you guys ready?" I still inquired to be sure.

"Yes, let's go, it's almost time for the interview" Tara responded, headed for the door.

We followed after her and got out. She locked the door while I unlocked my car and was about getting in with Matthew when a familiar car drove into the compound.

I quickly hastened my pace and got into the car not ready to be seen by whoever drove in.

I waited for the car to park so I could drive out but then the car stopped right at the entrance which means I can't drive out.

"Hey, get out of the way, can't you see you're blocking the entrance" Tara yelled staring at the car.

The door opened and surprising the least person I expected to see came down from the car.

My heart stopped beating as I stared at him from the car.

The last time I saw him was that night,that night it's all happened.

He has already seen me and he was looking directly at me.

Tara didn't say a word again.

Matthew quickly came down from the car but I couldn't, I remained there feeling so uneasy.

I shouldn't be feeling this way, he doesn't look bothered or anything so why should I feel this way? I thought trying to get my head straight but then the memories of that night flashed at me.

"What are you doing here Mr...what name should I call you? The ra**st or..the liar?" Matthew mocked walking closer to him but he pretended as if there was no one else there aside me.

"Matthew you should stop, stop it" Tara warned Matt.

Matthew made to hold Charlie's shirt probably angry that Charlie pretended not to hear a word he has said when his car doors opened and two of his guards stepped out and made to drag Matthew away from Charlie but Charlie stopped the guards then whispered something to Matt.

In anger Matthew left Charlie and moved away from him.

Charlie started approaching my car , I fixed my hand in the door handle and pushed it open then stepped out of the car.

He ran his eyes all over me.

"Ros..."

"What do you want?" I fired at him before he could complete his sentence.

"I just wanna talk" he replied calmly.

"I don't wanna talk, I have an important place to be" I rolled my eyes at him and said.

"Please..I won't take your time, look at your left and right, there are people actually watching us, I no where you're going, don't give them another impression, I promise I won't take your time" he cooed and I looked around to see some of the house occupant staring at us from their windows and from the sides.

"Five minutes" I groaned, opened the car and got in.

He got in from the other side.

"Be fast, you still have the nerve to threaten me with people watching us Charlie, you are so unbelievable" I half yelled and folded my hands.

I heard him sigh.

"I just wanna apologize actually" he started.

"I don't need it, I don't need you to feel pity for me, I don't expect that from you" I retorted.

"Why? You think am a de-mon? Of course I have a heart and you no what happened, I was drunk, I never meant to hurt you, I could actually hurt myself than to hurt you" he continued.

"Liars" came out of my mouth before I could hold myself.

"I don't no how but I wish I can actually open my heart for you to see that I'm being honest here. I'm not joking or lying about the fact that I love you and I still do but right now all I ask is for your forgiveness, I have learnt my lessons too, I won't ever fall in love again to avoid making the same mistake. I have never forced myself on someone before, I never planned to, you g*t to forgive and believe me Ros, I'm being really sincere and I could prove it to you welther you give me the chance or not. I will prove to you that I never meant to hurt you, I regret hurting you that time, I will prove that I have never loved any lady the way I love you so..."

"Get out, your five minutes are over" I cut him in.

"B..."

"You promised, out!! Enough with your stories, the truth is I don't wanna have anything to do with you anymore Charlie Bran, it's enough" I looked at him and said.

"Okay,I'll leave but before I do so, take this" he said and dropped a card beside me. I hope to see you there, he concluded, upended the car and got out.

Then he went straight to his car and left.

When I saw that he has finally left, I let out the tears that I have been holding. I didn't wanna cry in front of him.

I let out a muffled groan as I sat up on the hospital bed hours after Tara had told me about Charlie wanting to see me.

How could he even dare show up? After what he did.

The ward door opened and Tara got in.

"Ros? You're up?" She asked coming closer to me.

"Yes, get me discharged, I wanna get out of here" I mouthed and she sat down beside me on the bed.

'Why? You're gonna be discharged tomorrow, not today" she inquired.

"I'm just tired of lying here, please get me discharged, I wanna leave this hospital" I insisted.

"But..."

"Please?" I cut her off and she stood up.

"I'm coming" she stated and left.

I sank my fingers into my hair and bent my head.

I can't still really believe this happened to me. I never thought I'll be losing my virginity like this, being forced on, by someone that is drunk?

And the worst of all is that it's CB.

How did this happen?

I'll have to leave this hospital if I wanna get rid of this pains, in order to forget this, I'll have to go on with my normal daily life. I'll have to try and forget this ever happened quick.

The door opened and Tara came in.

"You're good to go, I've sighed the necessary papers needed to get you discharged" she said and I nodded and managed to drag my feet down the bed.

Last night, the pains I felt were the worst but it was more painful because it happened to be him.

"Matthew?" I called and watched as he walked up to me then he embraced me.

"I'm sorry for what happened Rosa, I didn't believe my eyes when I saw the video, I didn't believe it up until now" he said remosely and I turned to stare at Tara who has taken her face away.

"Tara? What video is he talking about?" I questioned curiously, suddenly getting scared.

When Charlie drove out speedily, I and few other guards got into another vehicle, a black van actually and followed after him.

He drove at a crazy speed and we were forced to follow.

Sometimes, he acts like a kid. He doesn't think, he just act.

I've known him since, we actually schooled together, he never had friends up until now but I still stick by his side, one of the contracts his father made with me.

I'm not only his manager, if anything happens to him, I don't think his father won't spare my own family that's the reason I'm always concerned about every little thing he does. I regret it,I shouldn't have left him yesterday.

I should have followed him yesterday night, secretly. I should just have.

Now the unexpected has happened.

The worst is that the news is everywhere, the video.

Now,I'll have to be even more protective of him because like I said before, he acts without thinking.

He kept driving at a very fast pace valuating traffic rules and signs, we had no option, we had to break those rules too in other to catch up with him.

He continued driving going to some unknown place, it started becoming dark and he was still driving.

At a point he reduced the speed of his movement and finally stopped. He stopped on top of a bridge then he came down.

We were quick to also come down.

There were much breeze which blew sand up, it's as if rain is gonna be coming down anytime soon.

I walked up to him and stopped, he was facing the ocean with his hands on the railings dividing the bridge from the ocean.

He didn't bother turning to look at us but he knows we were behind him.

After a very terrifying silence, wondering what he was thinking, I decided to speak up.

"Charlie, you need to get back, it's gonna rain anytime soon" I told him.

He didn't reply or make any movement, he just continued starring at the ocean as if there was something in there he was searching for but then after a while he spoke up.

"You guys should leave me, I wanna be alone" his voice came out husky.

🍷Charlie's POV 🍷
"You guys should leave me, I wanna be alone" I hushed but as expected non of them moved.

"I said leave, I'm not asking you to leave me, I'm ordering you" I half yelled getting annoyed.

Why won't they just let me be for once?

The guards stared at themselves and started moving back but Mike didn't.

"Aren't you listening to me? I want you to leave me" I groaned.

"I'm afraid I can't CB" he retorted looking elsewhere.

"Alright then, if you don't leave, consider yourself fired, you won't work as my manager again" I told him blurtly and he looked at me in surprise.

He wasn't expecting it - obviously.

This is the very first time I've threatened to fire him too.

He hasitated for a while before he took a step back then the next until he was far from me.

I took my eyes back to the ocean.

Maybe I should just do it, once I'm dead I won't be able to feel this pain again, yes I won't, it's better I just end everything here.

It was supposed to be peaceful and quite but Mike and those stupid guards followed me. I was supposed to think in peace but nevertheless I'll do it. I don't think I will be able to live with her hating me.

Yes, this is me getting revenge for her. I hope she forgives me when she hears of my death, I thought sadly, really depressed, frustrated and useless. Yes I felt useless.

If she doesn't want me,why should I just continue living?

Lemme just stop thinking and do it. The more I think about it, the more it's hurts.

I held the railings of the bridge and released myself into the ocean.

As I was falling, I felt someone grab my hand.

"No, I won't let you die Charlie. You won't die on me" I heard Mike say.

Hours ago.

"How could hide such things from me Tara? How on Earth could you hide such videos? Why didn't you tell me?" Rosanna yelled tears spilling from her eyes.

"I'm sorry but how could I tell you such things? How could I be the bearer of such news Ros? I couldn't bring myself to tell you" I replied calmly.

"How the hell did it get out? What in heaven's name is all this?" She asked no one in particular.

"I'm sorry Ros, I'm sorry this has to happen to you but I learnt that the video has been taken down from the net not too long ago" I responded.

"When everyone has seen it already, gosh I'm ruined. Will I ever be able to face the public? What did I ever do to deserve this ill fate?" She continued crying.

"Ros..calm do.."I tried consoling but she immediately turned and ran into the house.

Oh gosh! I knew this was gonna happen but I should have revealed it to her.

"Rosanna! Rosanna!!" I called and ran after her but she quickly got into her room and slammed the door close.

"I'm sorry this happened but I'm sure it isn't gonna ruin your career for you? I'm sure they will understand that you didn't plan for all these to happen" I said softly but got replied by the sounds of her sob.

I turned back slowly and walked up to her junior brother - Matthew who was dragging in his luggage.

"Matt, please talk to her for me, I didn't want to make the situation worst, that's why I had to keep everything from her" I told him and he nodded.

"I understand, the real problem lies with that musician, that spoilt brat couldn't control himself,I'm gonna sue him to court for ra**ng her" he fumed and walked pass me.

The guards ran and helped me in pulling Charlie out. As if I knew the exact thing he was planning.

The way he left was really scary. He came all the way here from his house to kill himself?

"What do you think you're doing Charlie? Did you even consider Ria in all these? Did you consider the little motherless girl? You want her to grow up without a father or a mother by her side all by herself? You want her to grow up with the knowledge that she wasn't loved or cared for? Did you even think of your aging parents? Your dad could give up all his wealth to make sure you don't see the four walls of the prison."

"Your mom might end up having a heart attack once she learns you committed sucide? What about your die hard fans, huh!? Damn, what about me?"

"You're really selfish, you don't care about any other person expect you. I've been by your side for almost 17 years now yet you only consider your f**k*ng self."

"You know what? You can give up if you want to, I'm tired of your selfish acts alright. It's time you grow up to a real man, you are still a mommy's boy."

"Damn I'm tired!!!!" I didn't know when I yelled at him in anger.

It was really frustrating.

"And if you want me to quit, it's okay. You can find a manager of your choice" I added and turned to leave in anger but his voice stopped me.

"I'm sorry" I heard him mutter and I stopped walking then turned to face.

"What did you just say?" I inquired for him to repeat it again. It's rare to see him apologize, honestly.

"I said am sorry, I was being stupid. I didn't really think about all those. I was in haste to end the pains I felt, I'm sorry for doing this, please don't tell Mom or Dad" his voice cracked up as if he was gonna cry anytime soon.

I exhaled and stared at the pathetic figure in front of me.

"It's okay as long as you don't try it again. Rosanna will surely forgive you even if it takes years, I'm sure she will, even if she doesn't I'll make sure of it. Right now I'll start by clearing your name" I said more calmly this time and he nodded like an obedient dog.

Next day.

Yesterday's event still replays in my head. How I almost committed sucide.

Yes almost, because Mike was there to prevent it.

I really didn't think like he said. I just felt like ending everything there.

I didn't want to continue hurting as the pains are something I've never felt. Growing up was so easy for me.

I never had to ask for something twice before I got it. I was envied by a lot of kids, mostly the reason I had no friends.

I met Mike as I was about finishing high school. He was the only one by my side but I never really considered him friend.

I never knew what that was in the first place but yesterday I actually got to know that I have someone more than a manager, he is more like a friend to me. A friend I never had.

Thinking about it, it's a bit selfish of me too.

I never thought about everything he mentioned.

Geez how could I have forgotten Ria. My baby.

I wouldn't have forgiven myself even in hell if those things he said happens to her. Thank goodness he was able to stop me and like he said, Rosa might end up forgiving me one day.

I just have to continue trying to earn her forgiveness. Yes I have to continue.

I sat down in the sitting room with the television turned on. I honestly don't no how Mike is gonna solve this but I hope he clears this up one way or the other.

"Dad!!!" I heard Ria's voice and looked up to see her at the entrance coming in with her nannies.

I haven't set my eyes on her since yesterday.

"Baby?" I called standing up.

"Dad!" She called again and started running towards me while I waited for her to come closer.

She got really close and I picked her up and hugged her to myself.

"Dad I really miss you" she said with her tiny voice.

"How are you doing?" I inquired.

"I'm good dad, I love my new mansion, it's so big and lovely, I started counting the rooms but couldn't finish counting them all, I'm gonna show my new mansion to all my classmates on my birthday" she hollered.

"I'm glad you like it honey" I coed and kissed her forehead, then sat down placing her on my laps. As always she is with her teddy.

She goes everywhere with that teddy even to school. I wonder why she loves that doll a lot tho.

"Dad I'm so so happy right now, I was angry at you yesterday, I planned never to talk to you anymore but you've made me happy, so you're forgiven and you no what??? You're the best dad in the whole universe!!" She hollered again and hugged me, wrapping her tiny hands around my neck, her hands could barely even reach my neck but I helped by hugging her back.

"Thanks baby, you are the best daughter a father could also wish for, I promise to always make you happy, I will never leave or abandon you alright" I cooed and she disengaged from the hug and nodded her head.

"Alright, I wanna go take my birth now, will be attending a friend's birthday too" she explained climbing down from my body.

"Huh! A friend? What friend? I've never seen you with one before" I questioned.

"Don't worry dad, he is also one of my classmates, I heard he has a crush on me, that's the only reason I'm attaching his birthday party, I'll go now" she replied and ran up leaving me staring at her.

A he? Crush? What does she no about that? I wondered and chuckled.

"Anyone!" I called out and one of the guards came to me.

"Find out who's birthday party Ria is about attending and make sure she gets back safely" I instructed and he nodded and left.

Then...I took my attention back to the screen to see Mike already coming up the stage. Where he went to clear things up.

A lot of cameras kept flashing. I bet hundreds of reporters are there taking pictures, they are there to know about what he is gonna say about the r**e incident, which I obviously did.

He cleared his voice and started.

"The video that was released on the net yesterday about Charlie Bran and the fast rising model and foodie and chief winner Rosanna Scott. I am here to address what really happened in that video that night."

"Yesterday, it's showed Charlie Bran following the young model into her car and obviously forcing himself on her, at least that's what most of you believed but I'm here to explain what really happened."

"Yesterday Charlie and Rosanna went on a date but unfortunately Charlie got a bit drunk, what he did wasn't really forcing himself on her but they both did it willingly...."

"So you mean Charlie didn't r**e Rosanna?" A reporter cut him in and asked.

"He didn't, it was well agreed by them both or do you think it's concidence that they both were alone together last night without guards or anyone? They obviously planned it that way but..."

"So you mean Charlie and Rosanna are dating? They are a thing?" Another cut him in.

"Yes, they are" Mike responded and more questions flew in.

I sighed and bent my head.

Is this what he is planning.

I switched off the television and immediately stood up, then left for my room.

👠Tara's POV 👠
"Geez, I can't believe this, after forcing himself on you, they are tryna cover that fact up? Who do they think they are?" Matthew fled up just after the what CB's manager said at the national conference room.

"I can't believe this, he doesn't wanna go to prison, they are all demons, how could they cover things up this way?" He kept ranting.

I took my eyes to stare at Rosa who hasn't been speaking much. She has been really quite and only managed to come out from her room this morning.

She stood up from the couch without uttering a word still and left for her room.

"S**t!" I heard Matthew mutter.

"I know what to do" I heard him say again and he vanished.

I took my eyes back to the television and they were already showing other things.

As long as you have money, you can do whatever you like.

I didn't expect them to do this tho. They lied to the general public about the whole thing.

I rested my head on the couch properly to think on what to do when one of the doors fled open and Matthew stormed out headed for the main door.

"Matthew? Matthew? Where are you going?" I asked worriedly. He is acting strange.

What is he planning to do?

He got to the door, opened it but paused and didn't step out.

"I'm here to see Rosanna" I heard that familiar voice and quickly got up.

I ran to the door to see Mike there.

He's eyes shifted to mine and he released a sigh.

"Tara, I'm here to see Rosanna, we have an important issue to discuss" he stated.

"No, you're not seeing her, you all are gonna rot in jail, first for ra**ng my sister and second for denying you ever did" Matthew fumed but Mike maintained his expression as if Matthew didn't just reply him, he was still expecting an answer from me.

"Well...her brother has already replied...."

"Yes I'm here, what do you want?" I couldn't complete my sentence but got interrupted by Rosanna who appeared from behind and answered him.
