*Breaking: AS FRANCO-BRITISH INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY BEGINS ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES SHORTLY*

It is understood and it has been announced that the "first Nigerian University, which will be conducted in British and French style, known as Franco-British International University (FBIU) based in Kaduna will begin academic activities and specifically in October 2024."

It is therefore gratifying to learn that another Ivory tower in the fleet of tertiary institutions founded by the indefatigable Prof. Abubakar Adamu Gwarzo is making the academic wave shortly, and specifically October this year, 2024. There's nothing one can say but appreciate the magnificent and tireless efforts of the Founder in building citadels of learning across the globe for the mankind.

As we welcome Franco-British International University in Kaduna, we pray that Allah SWT bless the Founder (that consecrated his time efforts, talent, energy and resources (TETER) in the developments of education particularly in Nigeria and the world in general) for the entire mankind, let us promote the FBIU, Kaduna to grow. *ALHAMDULILLAHI!*

In our report this morning titled, *Education: Atiku visits MAAUN, Commissions School of Social and Management Sciences*, there's inadvertent mixed up in names. Particularly, we intended to mention the former Sokoto State governor in person of Alhaji Dalhatu Bafarawa who was actually on the entourage of the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and Not Alhaji (Dr) Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, who we understand is an APC senator.

The paragraph concerned for our story should have read: "Other personalities that accompanied Alhaji Atiku to MAAUN for the Commissioning of SSMS are former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Dalhatu Bafarawa, Not Aliyu M. Wamakko, please.

Yesterday was another high point of visit in Kano when the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, paid visit to one of the prestigious and gigantic MARYAM ABACHA AMERICAN UNIVERSITY, NIGERIA (MAAUN), Kano.

Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, Turakin Adamawa said that his passion for education comes from his heart as he commissioned
the Atiku Abubakar School of Social and Management Sciences at the Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria in Kano State, yesterday.

The former Vice President also said the commissioning was another high point of his visit to the state.

The PDP presidential candidate emphatically stated on his page after the visit, “It is a privilege to commission the Atiku Abubakar School of Social and Management Sciences at the Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria in Kano today. "This is another high point of my visit to Kano.", ATIKU said.

ATIKU was warmly received by the Founder and Chairman of the University Governing Council, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo.

ATIKU was also accompanied to the University by prominent politicians as his running mate and the Governor of Delta State, Okowa, Governor TAMBUWAL of Sokoto State, two term former Governor of Kano Stare and Sardaunan Kano, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau who had just decamped back to PDP.

Other personalities that accompanied Alhaji Atiku to MAAUN for the Commissioning of SSMS are Senator (Dr) Aliyu Magatakarda WAMAKKO, Sarkin Yamman, Sokoto, former Governor of Jigawa State among other prominent dignitaries and supporters.

*Some politicians especially those ones presently looking for the seat of President Muhamnadu Buhari (PMB) are now talking wisely thinking they can fool the voters to get votes again. Their now holier than though talks are too desperate. It is aiken to worshippers asking for forgiveness on the day of Judgement. They had the ample time to be good but they chose to ignore and focus on bad governance. The time has come again to ask for votes, pretending the voters and the led have forgotten their misdemeanors.
