I married a single mother and I'm beginning to regret it 😰😭😭😭

I met my wife at her friend's wedding. She told me she was a mother of two children and showed me her two children who were at the wedding (a 13 year old boy and a 16 year old girl). I told her l have a child too although my daughter and her mother were outside the country 🫶🙁

We hit it off and soon we started dating. A year into our relationship we got married. Things were good while we were dating. Her kids were respectful to me and we all had a cordial
relationship although not as close as l'a like it to be
They moved In with me after the wedding. At first things were good but soon issues started creeping in slowly. Their biolog!cal father and mother were in a relationship since secondary school and they had the daughter while she was in the university and the son after she graduated. They broke up due to some reason and just co parent their kids now….😩

Our pr0blems started with the fact that their father is too involved in their lives. He attends every open day competition event etc that requires his presence. I married my wife and in that moment it meant that I decided to step up and be a father to those children but they wouldn't let me….💁

I told my wife to ask him to cut down on his involvement in their lives since I was now in the picture but she told me not to worry. Coupled with this is the fact that they refused to call me Dad. They refer to me as sir or Mr. I have told my wife severally to ask them to refer to me as Dad but they refuse to do so…..😰😰

Also despite the fact that they live under my roof they look to their father for validation for everything. If he says go they will go and if he says don't go they won't go even if l have a
contrary opinion. This has had a toll on me as I feel I have no contr0l over my own home. I have no control over my familyy

My story comes to a headway when her daughter l0st her phone recently which was an iPhone 8plus. I promised to change the phone and the next day I'came home with an iPhone 11 pro max for her only to meet her holding an iPhone 11. She said her father got it for her and dropped it off that evening while I was still at work…..😳😳

I showed her the one l got but she said she'd rather stick to the one her father got for her. She hugged and thanked me and told me she appreciated me for getting her the phone. I called my wife to the side and asked her why she allowed him get the phone when I had already told her I was going to replace her phone the previous night…..🤭

My wife told me it wasn't a big deal and thanked me for buying the phone anyways. She told me l could return the phone or we could give it to anyone we knew In need of a phone. I l0st it at that moment and although I could have handled things better, I lashed out and yelled at them…. I can’t take it anymore

In summary,I told them if their Daddy was so important and perfect and they didn't need me why then don't they just go live With him and stay away from my house. My step daughter burst into tears and ran upstairs. She came back down with a bag and left for her Dad's house. Her mum tried stopping her but she refused and got into a ride and left the house…..hmmm

She has refused to come home and my wife has tried everything. Her father said he wasn't going to for

"My baby survived despite the fibroid in my womb. As my son grew, the fibroid grew alongside him.

This very large fibroid growing in me.
But God saved me!

During the surgery to save my child, things got complicated, & the doctor had to present a difficult option to my family asking if: to save me or the boy. My husband didn't hesitate to choose me, but my mother-in-law, who has strong faith, began to wire prayers, asking God to save us both.

Miraculously, everything worked out! Not only did I give birth to my boy via C-section, but the doctor also discovered I was carrying twins! Here are my lovely boys

Today, We're celebrating 2 weeks since the successful surgery. Please help me thank this good God. And may He defend us all 'Women' from fibriods in Jesus name🙏💯🙏

My husband has never respected me because I only have HND, while he has a master's degree even though I’ve done other courses to build myself up.

My husband keeps saying we're married because I was pregnant and his mother f0rced him. He always talks about how smart he is and how I wouldn't understand certain topics.

When he decided to start a business, he chose to do it with his ex-girlfriend, saying she had a BSc and her parents were rich so it made more sense. I felt really in$ult£d, not just because she was his ex, but because he kept acting like I wasn't good enough to be his business partner in anything serious.

I was upset, so I did something I normally wouldn't do, I messaged the husband of the ex-girlfriend and told him what was going on. l asked him to speak to his wife and tell her to leave my husband alone. Not long after that, things got m£ssy between them.
My husband came home fuming, saying l had ruined a great opportunity for him and made him look unprofessional.

He said I was jealous and b@d belle. I didn't say much at the time, but I felt very húřț that he still couldn't see how wrong he was.

A few months later, I started a catering business with my friend (female) . We started small, just weekend orders for birthday parties and baby showers, but it grew fast because our food was good and our customer service was excellent. We were getting regular bookings, and people started recommending us on social media.

We eventually got a small space and began doing lunch deliveries to offices. By word of mouth a radio station invited us to talk about women in small business. I felt proud for the first time in my life.

Now my husband says he wants to come on board as a partner to my business. He says I owe him, since I spoiled his own business with his ex. He said he can bring structure and contacts, but I told him we're doing just fine. He keeps insisting that I wouldn't have thought of the business idea if I hadn't seen him trying to do something with his ex, which is not true.

I'm confused between keeping him far away from what l've built or trying to find a way to work together without losing control.

What do you advise? This business is affecting my marriage.
