According to a new draft recommendation statement, the US Preventive Services Task Force recommends that all women at average risk of breast cancer begin screening at the age of 40 to lower their risk of dying from the disease.
It is an update to the task force's 2016 recommendation that biennial mammograms, which are x-rays of the breast, begin at the age of 50 and that the decision for women to screen in their 40s "should be an individual one."
Some organizations, such as the American Cancer Society, have previously suggested that women begin mammograms in their forties...

On the morning of Jan. 23, Adolfo Molina was travelling back from the airport with his wife when he spotted a blue car had lost control and was driving up towards the guardrail.

Molina got out of his car, ran across three lanes of traffic, and eventually got the car to stop.
