Why forward-thinking brands must rally behind SISA 2025

CSR, as defined in plain terms, is the business of doing good, not in theory, but in structured, consistent, and strategic practice.

It is how companies choose to operate in ways that improve society and protect the environment while still achieving their business goals. The idea is simple: Making profit without losing your soul.

Whether it’s an environmental clean-up, support for healthcare, ethical labour, climate-smart farming, community education, or disaster relief, CSR ensures that companies return value to the very ecosystems from which they profit.

As an online and print publication, CSR Reporters offers wide-ranging coverage on sustainability issues, impact stories, environmental campaigns, corporate ethics, employee volunteerism, community empowerment and more. But like the most impactful media houses in the world, they have not stopped at reporting. They have stepped into the arena, convening, rewarding, encouraging.

Held every November, SISA is not your typical black-tie affair with token plaques. It is a storytelling platform with impact at its heart. It is a growing tradition designed to celebrate the brands that have embraced CSR as more than a PR stunt, companies that are changing the game with sustainable models, ethical decisions, and community-centred interventions. It is where sincerity in sustainability gets its standing ovation.

And now, the 2025 edition is already on the horizon, bigger, more ambitious, and more purposeful.

What makes SISA 2025 stand out is that it doesn’t just celebrate brands. It challenges them. It’s a mirror and a megaphone. A mirror to reflect where they stand in society’s development and a megaphone to amplify the voices of those already creating change.

This is where the call goes out to forward-thinking organisations, changemakers, foundations, and purpose-driven businesses: SISA 2025 is your stage. Become a Sponsor via 08034012198, +447466452785, 09025788002.

By sponsoring SISA 2025, your organisation is not just gaining visibility. You are making a statement. You are aligning your brand with values that outlive campaigns and advertising cycles. You are telling your customers, regulators, partners, and employees that you care, not just in press releases, but in action, in partnerships, in presence.

So whether you’re a multinational, a homegrown brand, a non-profit, or a public sector agency, if you believe that businesses must be forces for good, this is your moment. Let your brand’s CSR journey be seen, heard, celebrated and remembered because CSR isn’t just about doing good. It’s about being known for doing good.

Let SISA 2025 be the platform that tells your story. And this is a call to Sponsor it. Partner with it. Own it.

Haruna Ayo should have been behind bars, serving his time in one of Nigeria’s most fortified correctional centres. Instead, he was found calmly attempting to process international travel documents at a Lagos passport office. He was not in disguise. He wasn’t hiding. He was in plain sight, escorted by officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), wearing the confidence that only systemic rot could breed.

This is not about one prisoner. It is about a system that has become a caricature of correction. From Kirikiri to Kuje, Nigeria’s prisons are failing on every measurable index of decency, safety, reform, and rule of law.

Sad.🥲

Take a look at this:

Haruna Ayo should have been behind bars, serving his time in one of Nigeria’s most fortified correctional centres. Instead, he was found calmly attempting to

EXPOSED! CSR vs Philanthropy: Know the Difference

Philanthropy is personal. CSR is structural. Philanthropy is often spontaneous. CSR is strategic.

We've done a good job breaking it down for you.

83% doesn’t believe in Nigeria – NEW REPORT

83% of Nigerians say they no longer believe in this country. Are you part of that number? Or do you still believe somehow, somewhere, Naija will get better? 🇳🇬

Truth is, people are tired. Of no light. No jobs. No justice. Just vibes and suffering.

A country where 83% have given up needs more than prayers o.

Be honest, do you still believe in Nigeria?

CSR REPORTERS Mourns the Passing of Former President Muhammadu Buhari

It is with deep sorrow that we join the nation and the global community in mourning the passing of Nigeria’s immediate past President, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, who died earlier today in a London hospital.

President Buhari was a significant figure in Nigeria’s history — a man whose leadership, both in military and civilian capacities, left an indelible mark on the nation’s political and socio-economic landscape. His contributions, particularly in the areas of anti-corruption, national security, and public service, will remain part of the national discourse for generations to come.

To the people of Nigeria, and especially to his family, loved ones, and close associates, CSR REPORTERS extends our deepest condolences. This is a difficult moment for the nation, and our thoughts and prayers are with all who mourn his passing.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Let's be sincere. How many of us still remember the blind and partially sighted just to help them no matter how small?
