Stepping into the second half of the year feels like flipping to a brand-new chapter in a book we are still writing. And while the first half may have been a mix of highs and lows, one thing is sure: God is not done with us yet.

If it hasn't happened yet, it doesn't mean it won't. God is still in the business of blessing His own,.... healing hearts, opening doors, and rewriting stories.

This month, walk in with hope, Carry faith like perfume, be open to grace and be expectant.

To everyone who’s been waiting, praying, sowing in tears... May this second half be your time of Harvest 🙏

If you were given the opportunity to talk to your younger self for a second. What’s one thing you would say to them right now?

For me, I would say: Hey little me,
I know you are scared sometimes - unsure, overwhelmed, wondering if you will ever figure it all out. But I need you to breathe.

You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to have it all together. That pressure on your tiny shoulders? You can let some of it go.

The people who misunderstand you won’t matter in a few years. The tears you cry now will water seeds you didn’t even know you were planting. And one day, you will look back and thank yourself for holding on.

You are enough - even when you don’t feel like it. Life won’t always be easy, but you will grow, and you will be proud of who you are becoming.

Just keep going. You are doing better than you think. ❤️

In a Twinkle… Life Changed Forever 🕊️ 🥹

Waking up to the news of the Air India crash broke my heart.

241 lives... gone in seconds. Just like that.

People with dreams, with families, with laughter in their voices, and plans scribbled for tomorrow, suddenly silenced in the blink of an eye. A father, a mother, a student, a leader… dreams chattered in a twinkle.

I imagined someone boarding that plane, smiling as they messaged a loved one, “See you soon.” But "soon" never came. 💔

If there’s one thing this tragedy screams at us, it's that "Life is fragile". We plan, pray and dream but in all of that, we must "Never forget to be grateful" for the gift of now.

Please, let today be a reminder:
Say that “I love you.”
Call that friend.
Forgive quickly.
And when you kneel to pray tonight, don’t forget to thank God for life.

For those souls lost in the crash, may their journey beyond be peaceful. And for those of us still here, may we live with more intention and deeper gratitude.

These words from Straw Movie echoed deeply within me. Janiyah's desperate plea wasn't just a line, it was the raw, unfiltered cry of countless single mothers striving to provide, protect, and persevere against overwhelming odds.

Watching her journey, I was reminded of the silent battles many face daily. The film's poignant line, "It's expensive to be poor," struck a chord. It highlighted how systemic challenges can make even basic necessities seem out of reach, turning simple tasks into uphill battles.

To every single mother out there: your strength is immeasurable, your sacrifices, often unseen, are the backbone of your children's futures. Remember, seeking help isn't a sign of weakness but a testament to your unwavering love and commitment.

Let's foster a community where we uplift and support one another. Share your stories, lend a hand, and be the village that every child and mother needs.

When life hits hard... Where do you run to first?

I have found that in moments of confusion, disappointment, or even fear, my natural instinct is to either call a friend, cry, or scroll endlessly through my phone trying to distract myself. But lately, something has been shifting. I have been learning, slowly but surely to run to God first.

Not as an afterthought. Not as a backup. But as the first go-to.

There’s something deeply reassuring about pouring it all out to the One who already knows. The One who isn’t overwhelmed by my tears or my silence. Who isn’t confused by my thoughts or put off by my weakness.

And truthfully, I have seen the difference. Peace, Clarity and Strength that I didn’t think I had.

So I am learning to whisper prayers before I send texts. To open my Bible before I open social media. To sit quietly in His presence before I start seeking solutions elsewhere.

Dear friends, if you are in that space right now, where nothing seems to make sense, I encourage you to try it. Go to God first, Not last.

Because sometimes the comfort you are searching for is just one honest prayer away.

“Not every ‘NO' is the end… Sometimes, it’s just redirection.”

I don’t know about you, but I have had moments where rejection felt like a loud announcement that I wasn’t good enough. It shook my confidence and made me want to give up.

A job I prayed for… a scholarship I thought was mine…. “We regret to inform you…" “Unfortunately, you weren’t selected…” These words hurt I won't lie to you.

It’s hard. No matter how many times you hear “rejection is redirection,” it still hurts.

But over time, I have come to see rejections differently. I have learnt that sometimes God, life, or the universe says NO because there’s something better waiting ahead or maybe because we are not yet who we need to be to handle that “YES.”

Rejection doesn’t define you. It refines you.

Every time you hear "NO!" take a breath, Cry if you need to. But after that, look for the lesson. Look for how to grow, how to try again, or where else you are being led.

You are not alone.

We don’t talk enough about the waiting period......that season where prayers are prayed… but answers haven’t yet arrived. You know that space?? It’s silent, It’s stretching, it’s holy ground and yet it feels like nothing is happening.

But hear me: "Waiting is not Wasting.

When God makes a promise, He often puts a period of silence in between the declaration and the manifestation. Abraham waited. Joseph waited. David waited. Even Jesus waited. And you? You are not being punished instead you are being prepared.

📖 Habakkuk 2:3 says,

“Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Yes, it sounds like a contradiction but divine timing often confounds human logic.

I once read in a book by Henri Nouwen, “Waiting is a period of learning. The longer we wait, the more we hear about Him for whom we are waiting.” Let that sink in. In the silence, in the pause, in the ‘not yet’, God is whispering truths we could never hear in the noise.

So if you are in your waiting season right now, be it that you are waiting for healing, for clarity, for breakthrough, for a door to open......I want you to do two things:

• Don’t confuse delay with denial.

• Let the waiting make you, not break you.

Be still
Grow roots
Build character
Trust deep
Cry if you must
But don’t you dare give up.

Waiting seasons are wombs. Something is growing.

And when it comes? It will be worth every quiet tear, every silent night, every hidden prayer.

Hold on. God is still writing.

"We are not meant to bloom at the same time. Your journey is still valid" 💪

You know, I was talking to myself the other day. I had just finished scrolling through Instagram and it felt like everyone was doing something major.......new jobs, traveling, launching businesses, getting married. And there I was, sitting on my bed wondering, “God, am I even moving?”

Honestly, it messed with me. I started feeling like I was lagging behind. Like I missed some secret meeting where everyone was told what to do next… except me.

I came across a short message from Apostle Joshua Selman on times and seasons, where he emphasized on understanding the specific time frame and occasions God has set for events in our lives. He suggested that everything, including our actions, should be done with consideration of time and the season we are in. A key point is that there are times when opportunities are present, but if we don't discern the season, those doors might not open. Additionally, recognizing the season we are in allows us to maximize our purpose and avoid wasted efforts....

After listening to the message, I said to myself, “Chidinma, you are doing okay. You are not behind. You are not slow. You are just on your path, and your time will come too.”

Sometimes I forget that life isn’t one big competition. I forget that blooming late is still blooming. And that even if it’s taking time, the work I am putting in is not in vain.

So I am learning to celebrate others while still waiting for my own moments. I am learning to trust that God’s plan for me is unfolding, even when it’s quiet.
