Applicant Disqualification Reasons

Transparency from recruiting committee and disqualifying applicants that are no longer under consideration is a tool for compilation and progression of the stages and phases of recruitment.

Learn about when applicants are disqualified and the valid disqualification reasons applicable in Board services.

Major Point: Minimum Qualifications Not Met

Note: Applicants who does not meet the posted minimum qualifications of a position stands the chance of imminent disqualification.

After disqualifying applicants for not meeting minimum requirements, the committee determines which candidates will be interviewed or shortlisted.

These are some reasons to not shortlist or consider an applicant for an interview / the next stage, among which are but not limited to:

•Falsification of application Information / credentials
•Application information is deficient
•Candidate lacks/has less relevant experience
•Candidate lacks/has less relevant education/training/certification for the role
•Candidate lacks preferred qualifications (education/experience/skill level)
• Duplicate application
• Poor reference information
• Informations provided not founded or inputs not applicable
• Identity record shows inconsistency with application information
• Suspicious/Reported/Incriminating records linking applicant from external sources
