Do you want to write?
Then first things first!
1. Prewriting: Examine and explore ideas. Collect material from different sources. This is when the creative juices start to flow.
2. Drafting and Discovery: Get all the information on paper. Don't worry about getting it right or perfect at first attempt. It could take you up to 3 drafts to get it right.
Just keep writing!
3. Revising and Proofreading: At this stage, you review your writing and share with a professional proofreader. Clarity and coherence are important.
If it's a book or short story, you may share with Beta readers to review for you.
Remember, it's important to w**d out errors in grammar, word usage and spellings.
4. Publishing and Presenting: At long last, you've passed the hurdles and are ready to publish or present your work to others. Whether it's querying to get published traditionally or Indie-publish, you must carefully select the platform that allows room for growth.
One last thing! These writing processes are often interchangeable depending on the writer's experience and skill level.
Some writers go straight to drafting.
Others proofread while drafting.
Good luck! And don't forget,
We'll handle any and all stages of your writing process. From ideas to writing, editing and publishing.
