There, I said it.

Some people just walk into a room, smile… and suddenly, everybody’s mood shifts. One request? Granted. One smile? Promotion. One eye contact? Free ride. It's not jazz, my guy – it's beauty privilege.

Let’s not lie — if you’re one of those chiseled, well-sculpted “he-fines” or “she-fines,” life does hand you a few shortcuts. Interviews seem smoother, security men suddenly become polite, and strangers just “randomly” want to help. That’s not coincidence. That’s face card working overtime.

Now me? Look at me — I’m not bad-looking o (don’t argue 😂), but let’s be honest… my face no open door yet. I still need CV. Still need to greet receptionist twice. Still need to explain myself at the gate, at the job, and even at love 😭.

And you see those ones that were born looking like Instagram filters in real life? They don’t hustle for validation. They are the standard. Meanwhile, people like us are still applying cream, praying it works, drinking water to "glow from inside" 💀.

But here’s the real tea: Yess...Good looks may open doors, but what keeps you inside is value.
Talent, skill, confidence, and persistence still run this game.
Beauty fades, but value compounds.

So whether your face is giving “fine boy privilege” or just giving… “we try small,” don’t sit down and envy. Build your worth. Create your luck. Hustle smart.

MY CHEST 😩💔

This generation has finally cracked the coconut of common sense and thrown it away.

Brethren, I am officially weak.

I have been watching The Hunt Game Show by our beloved Nons_miraj hoping to learn one or two things for my new YouTube channel. But what I have seen? E no get part 2.

At first, I thought it was comedy. But then I realized these people were serious. Dead serious. And that’s when fear and shock gripped me.

A guy walked in and said, “I want a hardworking woman.”
Guess what happened? Pew-pew-pew! Balloons popped everywhere like New Year fireworks.

Another guy said, “I want a lady I can build a life with.”
Boom! More balloons burst. If you were standing beside your TV, you would think you Benin Republic has invaded Nigeria.

Now, for those who don’t watch the show:
When a woman pops her balloon, it means the man is a rejected stone. 🙆‍♂️

And when asked why they didn’t want these men, the answers were straight from the pit of laziness.
One said she can’t suffer in this life. She wants a man who will give her 2 million naira monthly, take her shopping, and basically turn her into an expense on two legs.

Another said, “I can manage 500k monthly. For now.”
For now oh! Until she upgrades to Dangote-level allowance.

Then came the thunderbolt:

One of them was asked if she could accept 3 million naira as wedding budget.
She said: “God forbid!” 😳

She claims to earns 1 million monthly but wants a man who can drop 150 million for wedding.
And I’m not joking. She said it with her full chest like she was quoting Psalms 23.

She even asked if the 3 million was for her dress or her eyelashes.
And the others clapped like she just invented ATM machine.

Please, someone help me understand:
How does a woman who earns 1M monthly demand a man who can blow 12 YEARS plus of her salary in one day to entertain people who will still gossip that the jollof rice was dry?

This powerful movie where a girl named Coraline finds a hidden door into a perfect version of her life…

with another mother with button eyes who looks exactly like her real mom, but sweeter, more attentive, and fun… at first.

Soon, she realizes this "Other Mother" is a trap — a witch-like creature who feeds on the souls of children. She lures them in with comfort, then sews buttons over their eyes and steals their life force. Coraline barely escapes.

Now pause and think…

This isn’t just a cartoon. It’s a warning.
The "Other World" represents illusion — fake comfort, fake love, fake promises.
The "Other Mother" is symbolic of manipulation — the kind we face every day:

• Addictions that feel good but drain us.
• Social media feeding us dopamine but killing our focus.

Coraline teaches us that if something feels *too perfect*, question it. If someone flatters you too easily, observe their intent. If you’re offered ease with no effort, look deeper.

The truth might not always feel good at first, but it’s the only path to real freedom.

And just like Coraline, we must learn to say no to illusions — even when they look like love.

From birth, we've been taught that life is war.

Your inner state is more powerful than your outer struggle.

The poor man wakes up by 5am, with back pain, joint pain, and rent pain—yet he still finds the strength to argue on Twitter over Davido and Burna Boy.

He doesn’t have a car, but he’ll die on the hill defending celebrities with fleets of Rolls Royces. He’s never been to the airport, but he knows which private jet is “for clout” and which one is “really theirs.”

Meanwhile, the celebrity is on a beach somewhere, sipping coconut water from a pineapple, wondering if their fans are still foolish enough to fight in the comments section. (Spoiler: They are.)

The poor man’s energy is the fuel. His attention is the currency. His free time? Pure gold. He invests everything… and gets absolutely nothing back. Except maybe a retweet he’ll frame in his heart forever.

While he’s struggling to buy data, the celebrity is monetizing his every scroll. He sees it as loyalty. The celebrity sees it as engagement metrics.

The poor man is broke… but emotionally rich with opinions.
The celebrity is rich… and emotionally detached.

One is hungry and loud.
The other is full and silent.

But guess who is still buying that N42,000 concert ticket with his last savings?
