"Agunechemba by Day, Armed Robbers by Night – Soludo’s Aide Declares Security Operatives Need Security!"

The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Community Security, Ken Emeakayi, has made a disturbing revelation — some members of Anambra’s newly formed Agunechemba security outfit have allegedly turned into criminals themselves.

According to Emeakayi, reports reaching the government show that certain operatives now use their guns to extort money from the very people they were employed to protect. Even more shocking, some of them have been accused of acting as security personnel during the day and turning into armed robbers and kidnappers at night.

“The governor established Agunechemba and Operation Udo ga Achi to chase criminals out of our communities, not to give them uniforms to hide under,” he said.

He also explained that many of these suspicious Agụnaechemba members have refused to come for proper verification—a process required by law before they can be paid or officially recognized. “If you are genuine, you should have nothing to hide,” he added.

Emeakayi warned that very soon, anyone claiming to be a community security operative without going through profiling will be treated as a suspect, because the state must know who is holding a gun and why.

He called on members of the public to stay alert and report any wrong behavior they observe from the operatives. “We cannot allow a situation where those meant to protect the people become a threat to them,” he concluded.

EEDC Informs South East of The National Power Grid Collapse, Say They Can't be able to supply Electricity

Nigeria’s Power grid has collapsed again, with the country currently generating 0.80 Mega watt of electricity, Daily Trust reports.

A check on the website of Independent System Operator, an autonomous arm of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) indicated that power plants contribution to the grid began to decline around 2pm to 2,797.16MW from the average 3,417.99MW around 1pm.

The electricity contribution further declined to 1,020.08 around 3pm before dramatically falling to 0.80 by 4pm.

Daily Trust reports that the 0.80 was generated by the Trans-Amadi Power plant.

Confirming the collapse, the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) said the incident occurred around 3:09pm.

A public announcement signed by its head of Corporate Affairs, Emeka Ezeh, noted that the situation led to loss of power supply.

“This is to inform our esteemed customers of a general system collapse which occurred at 15:09 hours today, 6th July, 2024. This has resulted in the loss of supply currently being experienced across the network.”

“Due to this development, all our interface TCN stations are out of supply, and we are unable to provide services to our customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo States.

“We are on standby awaiting detailed information of the collapse and restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC), Osogbo.”

UNBELIEVABLE!! Simon Ekpa's Auto-Pilot Group Planted Bomb At A Church in Arondizogu On Easter Monday

Family Writers Press International is reliably informed that some criminals belonging to Simon Ekpa's Auto-Pilot Group were led by one "Gentle the Yahoo", the criminal gang leader from Umulolo in Okigwe, to deposit an explosive around a densely populated church in Arondizogu, Imo State, during the Easter celebration. But thankful the explosive was timely detected and neutralised.

The foiled attempt to kill Biafran Christians of Imo State en masse, is said to be because the people of Arondizogu refused to pay Simon Ekpa's Auto-Pilot Group a whooping amount of N200 Million.

According to report, Auto-Pilot had demanded that Arondizogu pay them 200million Naira ransom so they would not terrorize them. On a total refusal of the people to accept such a criminal bargain, the Simon Auto-pilot planned and implanted bomb where people from the peaceful region could have been massively killed while they went for Easter celebration.

It is worthy to honestly ponder on what could have been the outcome of this foiled heinous crime attempt. Who could have been blamed?

This is the way many other similar crimes have been committed in same Imo State and beyond, for which the Mazi Nnamdi Kanu led Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) were blamed, even though they know nothing about them. And, the government have seemingly enjoyed letting these criminalities thrive, because they have been useful in the attempts to dent the image of IPOB and Eastern Security Network(ESN).
