💔 SHE NEVER KNEW HER MARRIAGE WOULD END ON HER WEDDING NIGHT 💔
After our wedding, I was the happiest woman on earth.
I finally got married to the man of my dreams — the one I prayed for.
I couldn’t wait to start enjoying the beauty of marriage and to be called someone’s wife.
My husband said we didn’t need a hotel for our honeymoon since he already had a beautiful apartment.
That sounded sweet to me.
We drove home, ate, took our baths, and slept — it had been a long and stressful day.
Around 9 p.m., some of his friends came over to deliver our wedding gifts.
While they were unwrapping the presents, I decided to sleep.
I’ve always had a habit — I can’t sleep in a dark room, so I left the light on.
At 1 a.m., I woke up and noticed my husband was already in bed beside me,
but the lights were off.
I stood up and turned them on again,
but he woke up and turned them off.
I switched them back on —
and suddenly, he shouted,
> “What kind of human being are you? I hate sleeping with the light on!”
I felt insulted — that was our first night together as husband and wife.
So, I quietly left the room and slept in the living room.
I thought by morning he would ask where I slept...
But he didn’t.
I felt ignored and decided not to do anything in the house.
Later that evening, my mom called, asking,
> “What am I hearing?”
That’s when I found out my husband had already called her to report me.
I confronted him — it turned into a heated argument.
I pushed him, he slapped me… and I left the house to my friend's Cynthia's apartment
I waited, hoping he would come to look for me.
But he never did.
And from that day till today...
I’m still single. 💔
💡 LESSON:
Marriage is not for two proud people.
It’s not for two people who always want to be right.
Sometimes, you must bend to make peace reign.
Sometimes, you must compromise to keep your home.
In marriage, one person must be wise enough to say, “Let peace win.”
Because marriage doesn’t survive on love alone —
It survives on understanding, patience, and sacrifice. ❤️
