SAD BUT TRUE 😢

Akara and Pap was breakfast served every morning in a hostel of 100 people.

Out of the 100, 80 didn’t like it. They complained daily, saying they were tired and wanted something different.
But the remaining 20 were satisfied. They liked it just as it was.

To solve the issue, the warden introduced a simple rule: Every night, everyone would vote for what they wanted to eat the next morning. The meal with the highest number of votes would be served.

So every night, the 20 who loved Akara and Pap voted for it—with one voice.
But the 80 who didn’t like it were never united. Their votes went in different directions:

18 for Bread and Tea

16 for Yam and Egg Sauce

14 for Jollof Rice

12 for Spaghetti

10 for Indomie

10 for Moi Moi and Pap

Can u guess what the result was every single time?
Akara and Pap kept winning, Not because it was the best, but because the people who didn’t want it were too divided to agree on anything else.

In Nigeria, many are tired of the same old hardship, bad governance and recycled leadership.
We know who and what the real problems are.
But even those who want change are divided—along tribal lines, party names, personal interest, ego, ambition etc.

2027 might seem far away, but it's already around the corner. If we don’t learn from this story, we will wake up again to another bitter round of the same “meal” we’ve been served for ages.

This Is a Salient Message
THERE'S POWER IN UNITY, NOT JUST IN NUMBERS.

A United Minority Is More Formidable Than A Divided Majority.

5 Marks Of A Mature Leader

We often think of great leaders as charismatic, inspirational, and naturally talented, but what does the heart of a mature leader look like? Here are five signs.

1. Mature leaders understand how to follow.

A mature leader understands how to follow leadership and responds with gracious obedience to leadership. He doesn’t have to be in the driver’s seat all the time. Before Peter and the other apostles were ready to lead the fledgling church, they first needed to learn about humility and obedience to Jesus, their Master.

2. Mature leaders care about the small stuff.

Jesus talked about the Father’s willingness to give greater leadership capacity and influence to those who were faithful in the little things first. Great leaders have often invested a lot of time and energy into getting the little things right long before reaching the stage or the c-suite.

3. Mature leaders are all about people.

A mature leader values people over position, relationships over rules, and connections over control. In other words, the mature leader is far more concerned about relationships with people than the leadership task itself. Even the task-oriented “high D” leaders learn to be intentional about putting people first.

4. Mature leaders deflect credit to whom it is due.

A mature leader doesn’t thrive on receiving credit, but celebrates when others receive it.

5. Mature leaders build on the work of others.

A mature leader has roots, leans on experience, values input, stands on the shoulders of giants, and listens at least twice as much as he speaks. This is why we say so often that not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers. Leaders learn wisdom and apply it.
In other words, maturing leaders know how to follow, to listen, to learn, and to love people, and they will patiently invest the time and collect the experience necessary to become proficient in those practices.

10 practical lessons from "Animal Farm" by George Orwell. (A great Classic fable)

1. Beware of False Leaders: The pigs in the story start as advocates for equality but gradually become the very oppressors they overthrew. This teaches us to be wary of those who promise change but only seek power.

2. Question Authority: The animals blindly follow the pigs without questioning their decisions. This highlights the importance of critical thinking and questioning authority.

3. The Danger of Apathy: The animals' indifference allows the pigs to seize power. This underscores the dangers of apathy in the face of injustice.

4. Power Corrupts: The pigs become corrupt when they gain power, illustrating the adage "power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

5. The Importance of Education: The pigs manipulate the less educated animals, emphasizing the importance of education in preventing manipulation and exploitation.

6. Beware of Propaganda: The pigs use propaganda to control the other animals, teaching us to be critical of information and aware of the power of propaganda.

7. Equality is Essential: The initial goal of the animals is to create a society where all are equal. The failure to maintain this equality leads to their downfall, highlighting the importance of equality in society.

8. History Can Be Manipulated: The pigs alter the farm's history to suit their narrative, reminding us to be aware of how history can be manipulated for personal or political gain.

9. Stand Up Against Injustice: The animals' failure to stand up against the pigs' tyranny leads to their oppression, emphasizing the importance of standing up against injustice.

10. The Danger of Silence: The animals' silence in the face of the pigs' tyranny allows it to continue, teaching us that silence in the face of injustice is complicity.

1. Be careful so you don't hate a lovely person , because of a dirty rumour you heard about them which was created out of jealousy and envy .

2. Try to appreciate those who gossip about you . It's not easy for someone to leave their problems and carry yours on their head .

3. Forgive betrayals but be careful with them, because next time they may not spare your life.

4. Even if you kill yourself for some people, they will still complain that you didn't die in a proper way.

Do your best and leave the rest , you can't satisfy human being.

5. If you are always worried about what others are saying about you, you will never be happy

6. When your blessings are getting closer, your attacks become greater.

Don't look at the storm, God is the controller of all things he created, and is by your side, you're a victor.

Learn From Davido. Use your influence and money to support your family. Build each other up. Don’t tear each other down. Don’t wash your dirty linen in public. Do not even let your wives or husbands come between you and your BLOOD family. Unite. Don’t divide. Be greater together. Don’t let the hater be the victor. Congratulations goes to the entire Adeleke family!

Senator Adeleke won partly because of Davido. Going forward, Davido will win more because of Governor Adeleke. But look at your family. Whatever energy, money, and influence you have is dedicated to pulling each other down. Learn from the Adelekes!

How many celebrities could have done for their families what Davido did for his? Some even publicly fight their blood brothers. Others fight their own birth parents. Moral of the story: One family member who is committed to you is better than millions of fans who are interested in you!
