Tough truth: Always trying to please people might be the very thing destroying your peace, confidence, and success.

You need a YouTube channel with your FACE on it.

Yes, I know everybody is raving about faceless channels and trust me, I’m equally a huge fan.

But, please do not underestimate the power of having a personal brand channel.

Here are some of the benefits:

1. It builds your personal brand: People will connect with you better, get to know, like and trust you when they can see you. When you build a strong personal brand, you can wake up, package a hot product to your audience and rake in millions.

2. It attracts clients and helps you close deals faster. One of the ways I get people to trust me with handling their marketing campaigns is to redirect them to my channel. After watching a couple of my videos, they’re convinced that I can do the job and I don’t have to talk too much anymore.

3. It opens doors for brand deals: These days, more often than not, brands want to deal with people not logos. You’re more likely to attract quality paying brand deals with your face showing.

4. It attracts clients and customers to your business: I’ve lost count of how many times people from different countries of the world have paid for my courses and services from YouTube. When I say different countries, I mean more than 15 different countries! YouTube is a global platform for showcasing what you do.

5. It builds your confidence and public speaking skills. Public speaking and communication skills are soft skills that every person needs to excel in business and life in general. When you constantly practice by speaking to the camera, you’ll get better by the day.

My recommendation?
Have both!

You’ll make maad money from your faceless channel.

You’ll equally make money from your personal brand channel in addition to all the benefits I mentioned above.

Two nights ago, I saw a post by where she safelocked some money with Piggyvest and got her interest upfront. And then it hit me that I’ve used Piggyvest for more than 4 years now and I’ve never tried the Safelock feature before. So that night, I decided to try locking some money for a year and true to their promise, my interest was paid upfront to my flex wallet for me to withdraw immediately. I think this is a good way to save money long-term and still get rewarded for it. I saw some comments under her post where people were saying they would make 10X the money if they traded with it. That’s totally fine. But I hope you know that it’s always advisable to diversify your savings and investments portfolio. It’s okay to have different types of savings and investments working for you. High risk, medium and low risk. Spread your money out. Trade with some, buy real estate with a percentage, put some in a high interest yielding account, and so on. Most importantly, always do your own research and never put your money in anything you do not understand. You’re welcome. 😊❤️

Yesterday, I told someone that I didn’t want to leave Lagos anymore and he asked if I was traumatized because that’s the only way I’d be in love with such a crazy place. Well, maybe I’m yet to experience the craziness.😂😂

It’s funny how I had no initial intentions of staying this long in Lagos but I’ve loved every experience so far. The best part for me is the fact that my business has not been put on hold despite my change in location. I receive payments daily while hosting sessions and creating content.

This is the life I love. I think they call it digital nomads. I know that not everyone will run a digital business but I sincerely wish that everyone will have digital products that pay them daily regardless of where they are and what they do.

The internet has made things easy for us and we can do what we love and get paid for it. I know this sounds cliche but it’s true. I’m a living witness.

If leaving your city means starting afresh and losing your source of income, maybe you should consider getting a digital skill. No pressure, just think about it.

Today in church (Streams of Joy, Owerri), I was richly blessed by the word of God as we dived into the concept of the NEW with the theme: THUS SAITH LORD, I WILL DO A NEW THING.

Here are some key things I learnt:

📍GOD has an agenda, and it is clearly stated in His word. The more you are aligned to God’s agenda, the more the new will burst out in your life.

📍 Don’t be too fixated on what God can/will do for you this new year. Rather, find out what God wants to be done this year and align yourself to it.

📍 Every new thing comes with peculiar instructions. (Luke 1:1-17) Don’t expect to have different results in 2025 if you are not ready to take instructions that you’re not used to.

📍 Everything God does, He does in the spiritual (Ephesians1:3, Luke 1:80). You need to build spiritual capacity to download and access what God is doing.

📍 Building spiritual capacity is as simple as reading your Bible and praying daily, intentionally practicing the presence of God, singing and listening to songs that glorify God and surrounding yourself with people who hunger and thirst for God.

📍Christianity is a walk of the Spirit. The stronger you are in the Spirit, the more of the NEW you can access. How much of the word of God are you consuming? (James 1:25) If you’re not spiritually strong, you will be a victim.

📍 The new comes in a tray called discomfort. If you cannot endure, you will not carry the new. Until you embrace discomfort, you will not see the new.

📍 Most importantly, without the grace of God, you will never embrace the new. Intentionally pray and ask God for grace daily.

I hope this blesses someone today.
