A South African man identified as Mfana Ngwenya st@bbed his girlfriend, Kgaogelo Nnonu, to d3ath and posted a video of her lifeless body on Facebook.

The incident occurred outside a tavern in Maubane, Hammanskraal in Gauteng province in the early hours of Thursday morning, August 21, 2025. According to initial reports, the suspect suspected Kgaogelo of cheating on him.

In what appears to be a moment of rage, he slashed her throat multiple times with a blade and posted a video showing her covered in blood, cursing her as she took her last breath.

The graphic video was later taken down but not before South Africans downloaded it.

What has further outraged the public is that the boyfriend later took to social media, where he posted a detailed explanation of why he k!lled her, claiming she cheated on him after everything he did for her.

He made another post on Facebook, saying she ‘ruined’ them but he will love her forever.

“They may judge me but you and I know the truth, you ruined us, as I posted everything on the app it will prove that. RIP to is, I promised you till death do us apart after I fought for your life. Will forever love you Mmamogashwa,” he wrote.

The disturbing posts have since circulated widely online, drawing anger and calls for swift justice.

Residents of the community expressed their heartbreak, describing Kgaogelo as a vibrant young woman whose life was cut short in a senseless act of gender-based violence.

The South African Police Service has not yet issued an official statement on the matter at the time of filing this report.

It remains unclear whether the suspect has been apprehended.

Akwa Ibom police arrest fake doctor for alleged illegal abortion and m8rder of 35-year-old woman
The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a fake doctor, Sunday Okon Akpan, on suspicion of conducting an illegal abortion that resulted in the d3ath of a 35-year-old woman, Blessing Sunday Etim.


The spokesperson of the command, DSP Timfon John, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, August 21, 2025 said the suspect attempted to secretly dump the victim's body in her room after she d!ed while he was performing the illegal abortion.


She said the suspect, was arrested on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at approximately 0930 hours following a report made by a woman (name withheld) who stated that her daughter, Blessing Sunday Etim, had gone to work at Full Life Medical Centre in Ikot Obio Odong village, Ibesikpo Asutan.


“According to a co-tenant, the victim's employer, a man who identified himself as Dr. Sunday Okon Akpan, attempted to secretly enter the deceased's room to dump her body. When confronted, he dropped the co**se and fled the scene,” the statement read.

"Upon arrival, detectives observed a premature fetus exiting the victim's private part. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of the suspect, Sunday Okon Akpan, a resident of Afaha Offiong village in Nsit Ibom.

"Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim died from a suspected illegal abortion performed by the accused. Further inquiries exposed that the suspect, who owns and operates the Full Life Medical Centre, is not a licensed medical doctor or a nurse, but rather a community health practitioner.

"It is believed that he used the facility to perform illegal medical services and abortions. The health center had since been found deserted.

“The body of the deceased has been deposited at a morgue for preservation and an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing, and more information will be released as it becomes available.”

NORTH WILL BACK TINUBU IN 2027 – GOMBE GOVERNOR INUWA YAHAYA

Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has declared that Northern Nigeria will once again support President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

Yahaya, who also chairs the Northern States Governors Forum, made the statement on Tuesday during the opening of a two-day meeting hosted by the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation at Arewa House in Kaduna.

He said President Tinubu had kept his promises to the North and deserves the region’s continued backing.

“When Tinubu came to us as a candidate, he made specific promises to Northern Nigeria,” Yahaya said. “The North gave him more than 60 percent of its votes, and today, he is fulfilling those promises.”

He listed major federal projects underway in the region, including the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano expressway, Kano–Katsina–Maradi rail line, the rehabilitation of the Kaduna refinery, the gas pipeline running from Abuja to Kano, and oil drilling at the Kolmani oilfields.

“These are not just projects, they represent growth and energy security for our people,” he said. “We must reward performance in 2027.”

2-Year-Old Indian Boy Bites Cobra To Death

Two-year-old treated in hospital after eating part of venomous snake in India

A toddler in India bit a venomous cobra so hard that he killed it.

Two-year-old Govinda Kumar was playing in his home in Bankatwa, a village in the eastern Indian state of Bihar, when he spotted the three-foot snake and grabbed it.

The snake then coiled itself around the toddler’s tiny hands, but instead of screaming, the child put the snake’s head in its mouth and clenched his jaw, according to Mateshwari Devi, the boy’s grandmother.

Govinda was knocked unconscious after ingesting some of the venom, but was treated in hospital and has since been discharged.

The snake died on the spot.

Ms Devi said: “I was moving firewood near the house and the cobra came out. The child perhaps saw the snake moving and caught hold of it.

“We rushed towards the boy and saw he had taken the cobra’s head into his mouth. We then separated the cobra from his mouth and hands.”

She added: “The cobra died on the spot, while the child fell unconscious.”

The family rushed him to a nearby health centre for treatment. He was later transferred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Bettiah for specialist care.

Doctors at the paediatrics department of the GMCH Bettiah said they receive five to six snake bite cases every month during the rainy season but this was the first time they have seen such a “highly unusual case” where a child has bitten and eaten part of the cobra.

Cobras are highly venomous snakes, with their bites capable of causing severe tissue damage and potentially death.

Dr Saurab Kumar, associate professor in the GMCH Bettiah’s pediatrics department, told The Telegraph: “I received the child active and alert but his mouth and face was swollen because of the reaction to the venom in the oral cavity.”

“We were surprised and cross-checked with his parents multiple times to ensure the child was not bitten by the cobra to rule out that venom had not gone into his bloodstream. They told us he bit the cobra and the snake died on the spot.”

He continued: “The child had eaten a part of the cobra and the venom had gone into his digestive tract, unlike in the cases where the cobra bites the person and venom goes into blood and triggers neurotoxicity.

“We gave him anti-allergy medicine and kept him under watch. As he didn’t develop any symptoms for 48 hours, we discharged the child on Saturday.”

Dr Kumar said the cobra had died apparently because of the trauma to the head and mouth from the child’s bite.
