CONSISTENCY IS THE TRUE TEST FOR SUCCESS.
The last time i did an ads campaign for my brand Veev publicist was in December last year. That campaign gave me lots of clients and prospective clients and till today, that very campaign is still giving me jobs even though it ended months ago.
By the time that campaign ended, i had a lot of contacts, some patronized but majority of the contacts at the time did not patronise immediately, a good number of them merely just made enquiries, some came to just waste my time. 😂😂
But i was not dismayed, i saved all their numbers, even the ones that gave me negative feedbacks and the ones that seemed to have wasted my time with careless enquiries. If i had judged the results of that campaign few weeks or months after it ended i probably would have concluded that the campaign failed.
Having saved their contacts, i kept on sending greetings, regards and reminders from time to time. I added all their numbers in a broadcast list. And up till today, i randomly get calls and messages from amongst them to actually patronise.
I shockingly received a message from one of them yesterday that read, "This man, i love your consistency, you are something else, how do you do it...", i smiled, that message gave me the consciousness of what i have been doing. After the complimentaries, we went on to discuss business.
If i had given up on them because the results didnt seem productive enough i would not have gotten the results i am getting from them today and counting.
I had one client that reached alot of prospectives through ads but was always complaining that majority of the people are not serious, that they are time wasters. I had to encourage him to persist. Not everybody you reach today with your service rendering will patronise you just immediately, so you have to persist, keep working on them. Reminders are important because some may forget or not realise they need your services, so you have to give it to them "wotowoto".
Scripturally we are built and structured to be like God and God doesn't give up on his dealings with us, why should we give up on any dealing?
This may be a lesson for our business, in relationships or in life. Consistency is the true test for success, do not think you have failed because you tried a few times, you have to keep trying. The only failure is the person that stopped trying.
Remember say na who give up nai lose!
But do know that you should be open to try other strategies if one particular one seems abortive. Flexibility in pattern is key. Remember, the goal might be thesame but the ways to arrive at it are multiple and different. There are always different ways to arrive at any conclusion.
The tricky thing about giving up is that you will never know the results on a thing if you didnt give up and your mind may hunt you with "had i known".
